Parking garage was very tight, trouble getting in and out.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Good variety of food for breakfast. Pool was closed.

Staff was friendly rooms clean We asked for a room with two beds first gone one with one bed. I had to fight to get two bed. The pool was under construction. We booked spacifically to have a pool. There was a huge outdoor concert outside our room one night making it hard to sleep.

We loved the location, the staff, the breakfast, the cleanliness, and the overall atmosphere! Great place to stay! Parking is in a safe location (underground garage), but there are limited spaces so parking is not guaranteed.

Pool was not working and sheets were dirty. Website states hotel has a its own kitchen called "The Placery" serving meals from 11am to 10pm daily and orders can be requested via room service- this information was also shared with my family at check-in on the first night. However, on our second night when my family went down to the the kitchen to order, a staff told us the kitchen is being renovated and no food is being served. There are no microwaves in the rooms. When my son went to use the hotel kitchen microwave, he saw a hotel staff getting an onion ring from the hotel freezer and eating it frozen before proceeding to warm it up. Onion rings was a menu item from the restaurant menu.

In Hyde Park. Very close to lots of restaurants and a short Uber drive to the Obama Center and Museum of Science and Industry

The room was very clean, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent!

The staff was wonderful and went beyond our expectations to respond to our questions and needs. Chuck and Fransa (sp) were especially helpful. The hotel is surrounded by good restaurants and access to events and activities were easily accessible by Lyft. We visited the Obama Museum (plan on a day, lots to see). Navy Pier and took a Fly Over of Chicago. We also did the Virtual Reality at the Aquarium. The door to the bathroom was sticking and it would not open when closed. The door was very difficult to open and had to be pulled on the inside and the outside simultaneously to open.

We only stayed one night. Friendly staff, free breakfast. The kids absolutely loved the breakfast. We used the pool, but keep in mind it's very small and you have to reserve the time (it's free). I'm sure it was clean, but the room was loud and echoed. Claustrophobic. So not for me. I really only wanted it for my kids. Helpful, polite staff. We thought the shower set up / design was odd but it worked. I can't say anything about room service, we didn't stay long enough to see how they would have refreshed the room. Would stay again.

Staff was helfpful when I got twisted around trying to park for check in. The carpet in my room didn't feel clean to me; there was a missing recess light cover in the bathroom, the parmesan french fries I ordered were cooked by the front desk check in person and they were not done all the way.
