Chicago South Loop Hotel

Both elevators were not working, there was a dark spots on the wall by the bathtub

Half the elevators were down so we had a much longer walk to our room. A/C was not great through out the hotel. A/C was fine in the actual room.

They had a woman who appeared to be intoxicated slang out inappropriate words to me, call for room service and she was using profanity, spoke with management no response and didn't know who was behind the counter working there that night

The location was a little rougher, but I enjoyed it. The others in my party, maybe not so much. The staff was obviously busy but were good. I didn't have any complaints at all. The elevator broke down but was fixed later, which is either concerning or nice depending on how you look at it. The elevator was broken upon entry and it was a little confusing getting in. The parking lot was also cramped, but that's the guests' fault, not the hotel or staff.

All Elevators down doors on stairs kept getting shut leaving us locked out. Puke in hallway in the morning . Atm was down.

Elevator was out - had to take all our luggage through a back hallway which seemed to be a maintenance hallway which was dingy and very poorly lit. Room keys didn’t work. Back downstairs to reprogram keys. In dire need of upgrades and cleaning. Requested refund and left before getting an answer.

Location was convenient for us to be able to visit many attractions nearby by using Uber Bed was not too bad, pillows were a bit thicker but tolerable Bathroom was large but shower gel caddy was broken, More on the problems below Room size was large with two queen beds but carpet was very dirty! NOT ENOUGH ROOM HERE TO WRITE 1. Bathroom had deep soaking tub that was greasy. So getting in and out without a handle bar was risky. Soap dispenser on the wall was broken. The small soaps they gave for handwashing (and had to use for shower too unfortunately) smelled bad!! 2. After first night, I realized we didn't have bath mat. Went down to get that plus one more towel as the person with me had put one of the towels in front of the tub to avoid slipping given the depth of the tub. Front desk couldn't supply towels, they were yet to be washed they said! 3. No hair dryer in the bathroom, may be they'd give it if we asked but this is a basic that was missing. 4. No ironing board in the closest, just iron box. 5. No luggage stand, so we had to put it on the floor and keep bending to get our stuff. 6, Room size was large with two queen beds but carpet was very dirty! 7. There was a small fridge but no microwave 8. First morning, the coffee machine didn't work bcoz the size of the coffee filters to be inserted were smaller than the opening. So the two were mismatched. Front desk couldn't provide me a coffee maker that could work with the coffee filters! they said they'd need to go to another building to get one and hence they couldn't! This place has no breakfast, no restaurant, and not a functioning coffee maker. So I was walking back to the room when I saw cleaning lady working in another room. I asked her if I could have that room's coffee maker and she cleaned it and gave it to me. You'd think that the front desk could have accommodated the same! 9. The elevator near the front desk was broken most of the time during our 5 day stay. If it worked in the morning, it'd be broken in the afternoon. There was another elevator around the corner but it was disgustingly dirty stained carpet on it! 10. Lobby carpet is not even clean, it's dirty with stains!! 11. Phones in the room never worked and the WIFI was...

Not directly in the middle of the city. Affordable. Free parking but weirdos were walking around the parking lot and looking in cars. Felt like it needed a security guard. Was in the ghetto. Transient residents. Our room didn't even have a room number 311. We figured it out between 310 and 312. Lobby driveway only big enough for one car so we had to back out onto a very busy street since she refused to move. Looked like a nice hotel in the photos but deceiving.

The price The rooms were dirty, the whole hotel was dirty. No services at all, elevator was broken.

Nothing stood out enough during my visit. My experience was either neutral or bad. 1. All elevators but one are broken at this location. If you are roomed on a higher floor, have fun carrying luggage up the stairs! 2. The lobby are was clean, but the hallways had overflowing trash that sat there our entire stay. 4. Some of the lights were out in the hallways, so it was dark in some areas heading to the stairs. 5. The lobby area is hot and there is some issues with cooling. Other guests we spoke to stated that their AC was not working in their room. 6. Staff is not friendly. We needed new key cards because they didn't work at check in. Receptionist told us not to put the cards near any electronic devices. In 2026, we know this. The cards just didn't work. We had to walk up & down 4 flights of stairs just to get our keys. Very cold attitude. 7. Parking was terrible because we had to park far out, reach the hotel, and walk up 4 flights of stairs multiple times.

Location and was in amazing distance of my destination There was supposed to be a microwave and a refrigerator in the room there was just the refrigerator. When I put stuff in the refrigerator, it took forever to get cold. There is no cable no phone in the room if you want to wake up call.

Location Elevator was not available about 1/2 the time (my room was on the 5th floor No room service or trash removal the 4 days I was there Smoke alarm was missing Soap container was sitting on the tub instead of in the dispenser Had to fill the tub by running the shower for approximately 15 min because the leaver was stuck

I couldn't drink the water. The pop was bad too.

The staff was wonderful and the beds were comfortable Our run had a leaky pipe, the TV didn't work in either room. Floors could have been vacuumed more thoroughly. No vending machines

During our stay, both elevators were not working, so we had to walk 4 flights of stairs in July heat.

Cars were getting broke into, one elevator worked, the faucet in the bathroom was not working properly and the iron in our room was rusted at the bottom, so we could not use it.
