Super 8 by Wyndham Chico

This motel has clean and comfortable rooms with a nice, friendly and professional staff. There is a self service breakfast bar near the check-in area. There is also a Denny's restaurant next to this motel for easy dinning. There is easy access to the 99E freeway that goes through Chico which provides quick and easy access to two mall areas, as well as a Walmart store 3-4 miles to the south.

Nice size room. Had all the amenities you would need. It was pretty nice really. The thing I could see was the floor could have been swept a little better,and soaps in shower filled up for people who don,t bring there own stuff. Really a good value overall. The TV and cable were very good.

Super 8 in chico is not like the one in oroville. Id recommend this one as well to damily and friends comming out of town

To top it off, I left with a mystery bug bites that has since blistered. Can I prove it came from the hotel? Nope. Am I emotionally assigning blame to the Super 8? Absolutely. 😂 If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay, I’d keep driving. This one was definitely a “sleep, survive, shower immediately when you get home” situation.

Yes in one of our rooms the lights didn’t work by the beds the outlets didn’t work on the lamps and the ac shut off every 2 minutes never cooling the room down

The limited office hours felt like a safety issue. Only entrance at 9 pm was side door where anyone could follow someone in who was not careful. It felt un-secure as we had to pass a group of people lingering at the side entrance door smoking weed.

It is close to many shopping areas The older woman at the front desk kept over charging me, even though I was told a set price on my app (including taxes and fees, she was very rude and constantly trying to charge me for anything and everything including switching towels out. The room has disgusting floors that left black residue on my socks, and room service constantly tried forcing me to have them clean even though I showed them the room was clean (my items were neatly put in the corner, dirty towels piled neatly in the bathroom and food items nicely put away. They are crooks and will go to great lengths to overcharge you.

The rooms were very old and smelled terrible. Probably need to get the carpet out and put LVP in. The bed was super uncomfortable and the bottom sheet kept coming off since it was a flat sheet instead of fitted. The staff were very nice though. Breakfast was sufficient as well.
