Holiday Inn Express and Suites-Cincinnati NE - Red Bank Road by IHG

It was very clean. The TV was old, color was bad. My husband is color blind and he couldn't really see.

Breakfast was very good, room was clean Hotel room didn't have enough towels for 6 so had to ask for more twice. Pool was cloudy and ran out of towels both days but was still nice and clean.

I stayed at a lot of hotels past two months in same area. The space of the room was nice. Felt a bit bigger than usual hotel. Breakfast supply was maintained. Beds were decent. Not A comfy, but B. Its an older hotel they are remodeling. Its a nice attempt but they hired sloppy contractors. If wallpaper seams buckling doesn’t bother you - great. Seems to be run by international “students”, some more friendly than others. For the price and room space I would stay again. Breakfast was the usual all hotels offer these days- powdered eggs, turkey sausage, processed muffins, waffles, yogurt, coffee and juices.

Breakfast was a disappointment. They had no pancakes available, due to low or no batter. Food was cold or barely warm. Breakfast offerings were not great. A huge letdown. Parking was also a challenge at night. Not enough safe parking available. 2 extremely large vehicles with tow took many spaces.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom was broken reported but the Manager again did not care! The TV remote was not working properly! in the Break fast room when we asked about the milk the stuff was rude!!

Bathroom had a broken toilet seat and a non-working mirror light. The light made it difficult to shave. We let the staff know but they said maintenance is only available 2 days per week. This is disappointing because everything else was great. We even had daily maid service which very rare for a 2 day stay.

Nighttime receptionist was very rude. Smug attitude while trying to excuse the hotels bad policy. You are able to choose a King bed or 2 Queen beds only to find out at check-in it is not certain, only a suggestion. The hotel will give you whatever bed type they feel like giving you.

New and modern property. Clean and easy to get to. Liquid soap dispensers vs bar soap in bathroom. TV access to channels was skewed

I was very impressed of how clean and put together not only our room but the entire property. They have some bigger competition next door to them but I would choose this hotel over the other one any day! The staff was very kind the breakfast was hot and kept neatly!

The location was nice. It was close to what we wanted to do. The staff were very kind and helpful when we checked in. The lobby and breakfast area was huge and had plenty of seating! The breakfast was really good and had a nice selection. The room was nice and modern with many features that were helpful and convenient. N/A

The positive things were that the hotel was very clean, and the food was good. I also appreciated that they offered different hot breakfast foods during our two-day stay instead of serving the same thing every morning. Unfortunately, we had several issues during our stay. I specifically reserved a double bed room because our party included 2 adults and a 12-year-old child. The rooms were reserved back in March for our May trip, and I even called two weeks prior to confirm all 3 rooms and the number of people in our party. We reserved two suites and one double room. However, when we arrived, we were told there were no double rooms available and only a king room was left. What made the situation more frustrating was the response from staff. I was told that if I didn’t want the king room, I could stay somewhere else. Since we had a party of 11 people staying together, finding another hotel was not a realistic option. Other issues included the ice machine only working on the 3rd floor and the bathroom doors in all three rooms not locking or closing properly. Overall, the cleanliness and food were good, but the room reservation issues and customer service experience were disappointing.
