Elevator was broken 3 flights of stairs didn't kill me but was inconvenient

The window in the room was cracked. There was mould in the ice bucket. There was a dent in the wall.

Happy overall. Don't let other bad reviews scare you away. Very nice place actually, for the price. The room we got was great! Had a few flaws, yes. Any issue we had, the staff went above and beyond to help us out, they were very sweet. They do need to step up their maintenance issues, but overall, I'd def go back.

The staff was very nice and friendly. Plenty of free parking. The hotel was located in a nice area. Unfortunately the building was a bit wore down, and we killed two roaches in our room.

Terrible place... I killed a few roaches and the water leaked. I still haven't gotten my deposit back from those crooks. I wouldn't recommend staying at this place to anyone!!!

No elevator

Half the carpet in the room was soaked. Like water splashed as we stepped on it. Only one of the Tvs worked. Stains on the beds. Sketchy stairs. Couch was kind of pockmarked as well. Coffee pot in the room, but bring your own cups cause there ain't any, Expedia says 3 stars? What are we doing here?

A few more things that we where notified of from the lobby the Elevator is out of order (for about 2 months as of another Google Review) and had not been fixed yet so for my blue tag friends this isn't a great choice. Then the stairs are your common old hotel stairs a few things are stained and falling off. But by far the room was the worst. Unknown stains in the kitchen by the plugs, initial common area carpet was stained including the couch, a bug in a picture frame (kitchen), a blood stain on set of bed sheets, all the mattresses are in cloth zipper bags, the mini fridge offered consistently was dripping water inside, the toilet in the bathroom looked like it had been leaking on to the floor as it's stained blue from cleaner and no replacement toilet paper at all with the old rolls being half used already.

Our room was on the third floor. The elevators broke and we had to take the stairs. My sister in law was woth us and she was recovering from back surgery. She was not supposed to do stair and neither am I but there was no compassion or understanding. No compassion for the visitors. No Continental breakfast.

Then the elevators weren't working, which isn't their fault, but we were on the third floor. Walking in the stairway, it was extremely hot and smelled like straight cat pee. We get to our room, swipe the key and try to open the door and it isn't working. Turns out (and there were no signs saying this) but when you swipe the key, you lift the handle up, not down. Half the time though our card still didn't work. We go into our room and it wasn't even clean. There was hair on the wall in the shower and there were popcorn and chip bags under the couch and on the floor. The only nice thing about the hotel was the pool. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. A couple of nice ladies that were checking in after us and had room next to us were walking down the hallway to go down to the lobby and warned us they found bed bugs and cockroaches in their rooms. We checked for both and didn't find any thank goodness. Also, they did not have enough towels. It was me, my sister, and 3 kids. There wasn't even enough towels for just 2 people.

This place was disgusting. Cockroaches in the room. Blood stain on wall. Mold on lamp and in bathroom. A random pill under the ac. Also the wall paper was coming off the wall. Stuff written on the walls. Elevator was broken. Ac barely worked. We ended up leaving and finding another hotel. It was not clean at all. The staff was not helpful. Thankfully got a full refund otherwise I was going to throw a fit! I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy. This place should be ashamed of themselves. I wasn’t the only one who ended up not staying. Multiple people were complaining about their rooms and ended up not staying. I can’t believe they are allowed to stay open with how nasty the place is. Definitely don’t recommend!

Large rooms. Beds are very comfortable. No signs of bugs :) friendly and accommodating staff. Best in the area for budget friendly and CLEAN :) Its an outdated hotel, the finishes all need updated. HOWEVER, this is budget friendly so I am NOT complaining.

Disappointing

Convenient for Kings Island. Water in room was Luke warm at best. Toilet not clean. Pool drain plates were loose causing pain in foot. Thermostat would not change. Never stayed anywhere with no plastic cups in room. Great grandsons needed a bath so we left about midnight.

Front desk staff was helpfull, but elevator was broken, and there was no hot water the entire stay. Room was nice but had to walk to first floor to get ice because 2nd floor ice machine was broken. The common areas of hotel could use some work. $75 deposit for a room with no hot water seems wrong
