Holiday Inn Clarksville Northeast by IHG

Previously booked the room and when I arrived checked in was quick.

The room had carpet and a moist mildew smell. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable. The bathroom shower leaked water halfway out onto the bathroom floor.

The staff was so nice and the room smelled clean walking in…love that! The bed was so comfortable.

The check-in and check-out process was fairly easy and hassle-free. The staff were pleasant enough, though the service was average rather than exceptional. I appreciated having a restaurant on-site along with the other amenities, which made staying at the hotel more convenient and enjoyable. The room itself was decent. The bed was made well, and the sheets smelled clean and freshly sanitized. Unfortunately, there were several issues throughout our stay. The first inconvenience was the Wi-Fi. The “Hotel Guest” option would not recognize either our last name or room number. When I called the front desk, I was told I needed to create an account, which didn’t make sense since the guest Wi-Fi option should have worked without requiring me to sign up for a membership. As an out-of-state guest, I didn’t appreciate feeling like I had to create an account just to access the internet. Breakfast on the first morning was actually quite good—better than many hotels I’ve stayed at—with a nice variety of options. I also had to use my personal cell phone to call the front desk because the room phone wasn’t working. The bathroom fan did not work either, leaving the bathroom poorly ventilated. Although I understand that housekeeping mistakes can happen, there were hair strands left in the bathtub when we arrived. The biggest safety concern was the bathtub itself. There was no slip-resistant surface or grip, causing me to slip and fall twice while showering.

Everything was great! Breakfast was great and very good atmosphere!

I was okay with my stay until I took a shower and noticed when the shower steam consumed the mirror, all but 1 Destiny spot. I asked staff and they looked puzzled. Made me very uncomfortable. Like there was a can’t behind the mirror

The hotel was very well maintained. Plenty of breakfast options.

The room, in general, appeared clean. Upon further examination, the room corners had not been cleaned for some time, just swept around the floor lamp. There were spider webs and cobwebs present, and they had been there for some time.

Great location for me, great service, and a great place to stay if your in Clarksville TN hooah!

Everything was great, would definitely stay again.

We stay there every time we go visit our grandkids. We enjoy the hotel.
