Great hotel!

Room was clean, but property is showing poor maintenance. Moldy balcony windows, cracking paint on the room ceiling, musty hallway carpet by entrances, bathroom door was stuck and needed force to close, and Spa doesn’t have anyone to do facials. I’ve been trying to book for weeks in advance. I see why this Ritz is only 4-star in STL vs 5-star elsewhere. The staff was really nice, the parking garage was dirty but affordable at $33/night, and room service was very tasty. We had a nice time for my mom’s bday, but the Four Seasons is worth the money. This was just okay.

It was just "meh." The staff was nice. But the amenities were just really underwhelming. There was no pool. The New York City Ritz is the same price, and it offers way more amenities. It even offers champagne while you check in. I stayed at the Drury Plaza in the days following my St. Louis Ritz stay, and it was one-third the cost of the St. Louis Ritz but way better. It had a pool, free breakfast, free DINNER, and each adult received three complimentary alcoholic beverages with dinner a night. It was well worth the cost. Meanwhile, I left the St. Louis Ritz feeling a little disappointed.

Very nice property to stay at and a nice walk to Shaw Park.
-
We went on Memorial Day weekend which may have been why but there were so many weddings! (7) The car park was situated so that unless you walked outside and hiked the perimeter of the property you had to navigate through wedding guests to get to your car.

Property was beautiful and well maintained. Didn’t like that housekeeping came in at 8:30/9 am and removed my sheets while I was out having breakfast. I hadn’t checked out and was still very much comfortable n the room. All of my stuff was still out throughout the whole room and they came and took all my sheets away. I’ve never seen a property so this before. Once they entered the door and saw my belongings they should have vacated immediately. This made me feel rushed and I was there to relax.
