Hampton Inn Clearfield

I am usually pretty generous on my reviews however I need to point out a few issues in the hope it helps others going forward. The room was pretty clean however the small refrigerator wasn’t working properly, two pictures were off the wall leaving the brackets on the wall as well as the aged outline. The shower curtain was not on which the front desk did provide a new one right away. The pool was out of service which my grandkids were looking forward to using . They were kind enough to let them use the pool in their sister property across the parking lot but was an inconvenience as it was a rainy day. The breakfast had a good selection for an included option with good service. The front desk staff was polite and tried to accommodate with issues.

Breakfast was amazing with everything from waffles to oatmeal, and everything in between!

Nice room, easy check in, quiet

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had water damage in the ceiling, but otherwise was fine. It's probably time for an update. We came down for breakfast at 8:15AM and there weren't any eggs. However, for a one night stay, it was fine.

Right off the highway great location Room needs a little renovation but not bad. Hot tub was leaking through a spout. It worked but needs to be turned on and checked out. Pool out of order, but was able to walk across parking lot and use other hotels pool. Exercise room had no treadmill and was lacking.

We stayed here on our travels and the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The king sized bed was nice. But, for a Hampton Inn, this one needs to be updated with some TLC. Everything was run down from the elevator to the windows and banged up doors and furniture in the room. It was close to a few restaurants and that was convenient. It was pet friendly and that was a plus. Breakfast was tired. When you've been traveling for 3 weeks and staying in hotels it becomes monotonous to have the same thing. The coffee was good. The staff at the desk needs more training. Even though I had prepaid via Expedia, we were charged for 2 additional nights at $256.89 for one night that I had prepaid at $175.17. I have now called 3 times to get a refund and have spoken to 3 different people. It is still not resolved.

we came back to the room to find our a/c had quit working, a quick call to the desk and a worker came up to see if he could fix the problem, after a few minutes trying he asked of we wanted to switch rooms and brought us up a new room key for down the hall. a very minor issue that was handled professionally.

The grout in shower needed attention. The furniture was worn although it didn’t affect the comfort , just overall appearance

Great breakfast selections. Room was clean and quiet. Pool was closed for repair, but they made arrangements for guests to use a neighboring hotel’s pool. We will stay here again.
