Royal Inn Clearfield

Property was being overhauled room by room. Shower drain backed up, primary door lacked weather seal, tv should be replaced, etc. But the room rate reflected this. If u need a cheap place with AC to ride out a heat wave, this fits the bill.

Good motel just for overnight stay. Safe, in budget and clean!

Omg a joke!!! The toliet seat was just sitting there wasn’t screwed on ! It smell like a dirty basement , I was post to stay for three nights due to my traveling assignment. I left couldn’t do it !!

Just absolutely terrible. We got a suite that had a kitchen in it and nowhere dis it say on the website that you would have to bring or buy your own pots, pans, dishes, cups and silverware from home OR go buy everything. Every other hotel/motel that I’ve stayed at the head of kitchen has said on its website that you would have to rent these items from the desk and they do that because of people stealing them, or the kitchens are fully stocked with these items by the hotel. We had a used roll of toilet paper that did not even make it through the first night of us staying there. Two towels, one washcloth and one hand towel. And then when we were cooking it set off the smoke detector which then I had to fan and as I fanning it we saw what we thought was a bug falling from up there, and it landed on the counter to only see that it was the skin shedding of a bedbug. The walls were paper thin the people next to us were up until the early morning hours blaring their TV and music and sitting out front on a bench right out front of our window on their phone, talking, smoking, marijuana and being very obnoxious. The hotel knew that we were there for a softball tournament and my daughter would need to be getting up early and still there was all this chaos going on that prevented us from sleeping. Thank God, her tournaments were canceled because of the rain and we left. However, we lost our payment for the second night even though I had the insurance for cancellations.

No estuvo tan mal, llegamos como alas 11 de la noche y todo estuvo muy facir y rapido. Creo que de regreso a N.Y vuelvo a quedarme ahi.

This hotel is miles from I-80 and is not as advertised. The place is rundown and scary looking. That said, it was late in the day when I checked in, so I stayed. The room was dated but clean and bed was comfortable. However, I strongly recommend that people not stay here. I was a single woman traveling alone and the place made me uncomfortable. Why Hotels.com advertises this property is anyone’s guess. It’s a dump!

The staff was accommodating and the room was clean

Room was comfortable but generally not as clean as it should have been! Bathroom floor was dirty around the perimeter, bedroom floors dusty, and wall under the window was stained with bird droppings (?). Coffee provided but no pastries as advertised.

A review here said this place was clean. There were a ton of baby roaches and decades of black mold in our room. Literally a roach motel

The room was good. The air conditioner didn't work. Otherwise it was nice. Beds were comfortable. Would recommend if your looking for a decent and reasonable priced place.
