Super 8 by Wyndham Clearfield

First of all, the staff was amazing and also apologetic about the bait-n-switch. There is no pool. Full stop. Some rooms may have a hot tub. With kids, pools matter. Had we known, we would have gone elsewhere. Had we known that there were gambling machines dang-near everywhere, we also would have gone elsewhere: one in the lobby, 2 in the teeny laundry room, and 3--count 'em!-- three in the breakfast nook. Breakfast was iffy. Yes, there's a waffle maker, but the spray to use on the machine is full of silicone and parabens. Parabens are outlawed for LOTIONS, SHAMPOOS & COSMETICS in Europe as a potential carcinogen. Do you really want to eat it? The staff does as much as they can with what they've got. The hallways, breakfast area and room were immaculate. Our bathroom had mold on part of the ceiling & makeshift towel hooks. Clearly, the owners don't care. Other hotels, take note: poach their staff. They deserve to work for an establishment worthy of their efforts.

Veey clean facility and the staff was friendly and helpful. It is close to restaurants.

The check in process was extremely fast and easy!! The staff are incredibly kind and helpful!! the room was super clean and very nice, the ac changed the temperature in maybe 10 minutes. the complimentary continental breakfast was good too, had all the basics and it was all nice and fresh!! they had new appliances like the toaster, it was great!!

We arrived around 10:30 pm on a Sunday evening and were cheerfully greeted by staff. The room was super clean and so was the lobby and breakfast area. It was decorated tastefully and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and we appreciated the flavoring for our coffee. The manager, Susie, was super helpful when we were trying to get beverages before leaving. The place was quiet, clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Susie for this great place to rest.

I was disappointed in their policies as a starter & how they got “even” with me. This is not a Vegas hotel but they charge for an early arrival. I had a reservation & got in at 2:20 with a check in time of 3pm. I was told I had to pay $25 to check in. On the web site it just said early check at 1. I just wanted to shower & get ready for a wedding which I had to leave at 3:15 for. I was a little strong with the desk person & that I could not believe this, it was only 40 minutes early & after driving for 6 hours I could not get checked into my room? I was not happy & just said I would comeback at 3. I left & realized it was not the desk person’s fault & so I turned right around & went in & apologized for my tone (I did not yell or curse). He said thank you & he would get me in a room & override the system. Now there are only 5 cars in the parking lot. I go to my room & it was a handicap room where the bed was 2’ off the ground, etc… I could not believe it. I was going to go back but just said forget it & moved on. Then the shower head is a special shower head & fell off the holder & almost hit me in the head, there was no iron & no cups for water. When I got back from the event around 11pm the parking lot was half full. I think the person was just pissed at me & figured he would get back at me. You also had to be a member if you wanted free wifi & there was no way I wanted more emails from their company. I usually don’t write reviews-this situation hits a nerve.

Clean room. Lobby looks old definitely needs a make over. Stayed 1 night for traveling perfect for that

No elevators to bring up your luggage. Hotel room was very hot but staff was nice!

Breakfast needs to offer more fresh fruit and protein. Not at all carbs. Bed needs more pillows.

Breakfast was below basic. Staff was not good about replenishing the very few options. No hot food available, no protein. Room was ok but property definitely needs upgraded. Simple upgraded bedding would go a long way.

Old and not cleanest property but cheap.

Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Convenient location. Clean.

Location & check-in staff. The chair in the room was very dirty & the trash had not been emptied in the bathroom. Pillows were very worn.
