Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St Petersburg Clearwater

The hotel is undergoing renovations. The elevators do not work and the beds were old and uncomfortable

The location is convenient, but the property needs better maintenance. The elevator doesn’t even work.

Elevator not working

Not my favorite place..

First, and perhaps most, we came to the front desk with reservations for 2 rooms. Though the front desk person apologized for not having a first floor room available, he gave us a 3rd floor room and the elevator was broken! we are all seniors. Though able to walk up and down the stairs, this was unacceptable, especially considering that we were given no warning (not even earlier that day with a chance to change our reservation). Second, the hallways need updating, and the television was "old school" (small and barely okay quality). Breakfast was fine, but would not say great,. All in all, a forgettable stay and we would not stay there again.

Tyler who checked me in was very nice but my portable alarm clock not working in room and he could not get back off to switch batteries and didn’t offer a substitute like from another room that was not in use, little aggravating! Ask about to go breakfast as leaving at 3:30 next morning , he said would leave a note! My lead person also there and was told same thing but when we asked in morning a young black lady said they don’t do that and was very abrasive when I went to the area to get a banana to go and said I couldn’t be there as area was closed…no coffee made either?? We had this problem last visit about a month ago and Sam interim general manager hooked us up with little to go bag and said just let them know next check in and they’d take care of us! Will refuse to stay there again!

Room was very nice. Pool was clean and temperature was fantastic.

Our room was clean, parking was easy, and the front desk staff was great

Hotel needs some work. Older hotel. Elevator made noise when the door closed. The market was virtually empty. Only a few drinks were available. The coffee bar had hot coffee. The staff were nice. My friend and I had just ridden our motorcycles 200 miles in the rain to get there. The staff gave us towels to dry off we were definitely we.we only stayed for one night. Breakfast was the usual eggs and sausage. Waffles were also available.

Horrible. First room stunk so bad I couldnt stay in there. Old food still in Refigerator. 2nd room they gave me had a filthy toilet bowl, no towels and not shower gel, wifi was hit or miss. I can go on and on with my list of things.

First day did not get breakfast third shift attending clerk said she was not aware

Very good breakfast, amazing staff, and fast check-in and check-out. Friendly service and a great stay!
