Holiday Inn St Petersburg N - Clearwater by IHG

I was part of a wedding party where 40 rooms were booked. The was only one server and busboy. We had to wait over a half hour before getting our food. It was tasty but late. This caused us to be late for our off-site spa day and we were penalized for it. The pool spa was broken and there were only two working umbrellas on the patio. The management was terrible.

Very convenient to the airport

The hotel is great. One note: we chose this hotel because of proximity and shuttle to the airport. Shuttle does not start running until 5:00 am.

We had a late check in due to our flight but front desk staff was extremely friendly. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. It was a short stay but very enjoyable.

Bathroom exhaust fan. Really loud can't hear anything out side bathroom Would of liked a night light in bathroom so can see with out having to turn light on in middle of night

Location is good for early morning flights. As are several other hotels in the area. The plumbing was off when we checked in. Had to go downstairs to desk to find out because the phone connection from room to desk didn’t work. Then the fire alarm started going off intermittently for over a half hour. Water in shower smelled bad.

As with most dated Holiday Inn properties, this location needed work. After 4 1/2 decades of traveling, I remember when HI was the hotel of choice. I chose this location specifically for the price.

The staff was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. Breakfast was complimentary and fresh and hot served to us at our table. I saw no flaws.

It was clean and decently maintained, but check-in was delayed, the ac in my room barely kept it cool, and the bathrooms could use some upgrades

The staff were awesome. We only stayed for an early flight, 5:40 am, so we didn't get to be there long but it was very quiet for a good night's rest. The bed was great.
