Tropical Palms Hotel

Rooms were brand new. Hotel is under construction. McDonald's and Taco bell next door. Poll is amazing. Best deal out there right now.

Parking is tricky. Front in staff was great! Room service could be better. Definitely make sure your floors a/c filters showers and bedspread have been cleaned and changed out though. They could do with a Pool cleaning.

Rooms are updated but done like a very poor flip and not consumer friendly. No desk. No chair. No lighting in the room besides one at the door and two small, very dim end table lights. No clothes storage besides some wall cubbies. No microwave or coffee pot. Whoever had my room before me definitely went to the beach because my floor was so sandy. Not sure who thought it was a good idea to put tile floors in a hotel room but I guess at least itll prevent the leaking AC from causing mold problems. Parking lot access through a taco bell parking lot and minimized parking due to standstill construction debris. Clear drug distribution taking place. Lots of questionable individuals loitering around the outside. If I knew this was a red roof inn originally I wouldnt have booked it.

They have a deposit policy that is borderline criminal. Upon check in the have a sign for $150 deposit. The room was $47 on Expedia. They ended up just charging $100. I extended my stay by paying for an additional day through Expedia the night before my current reservation ended. So they were trying to force me to checkout around 10am and then check me back in essentially holding $200 of my money in deposits. Deposits are for the entire stay. If a person

The staff was very helpful. The room was super clean with ice cold a/c. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be back again soon. ✌️❤️🙂

Close to stores and restaurant

My bank account was compromised so I need the $150 deposit that I paid with on my card and a paper check please if someone could give me a phone call at 813-743-7103 at your earliest convenience and or supervisor that would be greatly appreciated.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Tropical Palms Hotel. Although there are currently some renovations being done on the front of the building the hotel was very nice, clean and quiet. Rooms and hallways were updated and fresh. The pool area is very pretty and clean! I would definitely recommend staying here!

There was mold on the pillows, and staff did not help the issue at all or even seem concerned.

Can walk to restaurant so close.

The remodel is a great improvement from what the place used to be. The design and colors are great There was no direction on how to enter the building. The parking was really hard to do. The $150 deposit is ridiculous. And that it has to take 3 to 5 business days to come back. I find that unnecessary

Excellent service from the housekeeping and maintenance personnel and front desk including the general manager. Few things I’m sure they will work on soon.

Hallways are so long there is no map to show u where to go so u walk round whole building before finding room .. parking lot is full of construction.. room very clean and ice cold air

Overall it was a great hotel with easy food nearby. It served its purpose. They’re under construction so it’s a little hard to find parking especially at night. The room could’ve been cleaner. I found hair balls, lots of dust, some mold in the shower. The tv was HUGE , I think 75 inches, we really enjoyed that. The ac worked very well. Can’t complain because the price was amazing.

Check in was super quick and easy. The room was super clean! The staff was absolutely amazing and so very helpful!! The pool area is so awesome!! It's a great place to stay! I love staying here!! I will for sure be back again soon!! ✌️❤️🙂
