Even under construction, this hotel was wonderful. Great staff, clean rooms, and great pricing.

Room was spartan but clean. Even though there are no smoking signs everywhere, there was a stong odor of marijuana in the hall outside our room. In the middle.of the night the A/C unit leaked all.over the floor in front of the bathroom, making a nighttime trip a bit adventurous. Also, it had been a week and they still have not credited the deposit back to the card.

Now staffing. Efficiency must be the priority, because friendliness is optional. The exception was the housekeeping staff who were personable and accommodating. But, that was only in one on one interaction. Staff does not say hello in hallways and appear sort of terrified when asked a question. Maybe a management thing? Upon check-in I was not made aware that the first floor ice machine was broken

This hotel is currently being renovated so there is construction going on. However, we stayed in a newly renovated room on the first floor and the renovations were great, very modern. The center courtyard and pool are very nice. Laura was the front desk receptionist and she was fantastic.

The place is under complete construction . Doesn't have any signs out front makes it look completely non operable.

Property is under construction. Staff was friendly and helpful. Areas were clean and cleaning staff was also friendly. For the price, I would stay here again.

The property is currently going through a major remodel. Getting in and out and locating the front entrance was somewhat challenging. The outdoor pool needed cleaning. The staff was friendly and courteous.

The location is also very convenient, with plenty of things nearby. Overall, I had a great experience and enjoyed my stay. I would definitely consider staying here again!

No where does it say that you have to put a deposit of 200 down. Before I authorized for the deposit the desk agent ran 100 off my acct. Why do 100 when you said it would be 200. So now I still have a withdrawal of 300 total out of my acct. I always leave the rooms in great shape and I video everything. At checkout the desk agent (different person) stated it will take 3-5 days for the security deposit to go back to my account. We are on day 6 and still no return. The room itself was clean but you can smell smoke in the hallway and it is supposed to be a smoke free hotel. There was construction at the main entrance of the hotel so you had to enter in on the side door where it was kind of tight quarters. I will not go back.

I had a really great experience staying here! The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was wonderful — friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Everything was well maintained, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. It’s always nice to find a place where you can tell that the staff genuinely cares about their guests. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Tropical Palms!

To top it off, they had ridiculous policies. There was a sign inside that said “smoking only permitted in the smoking area.” When I asked where the smoking area was, she replied dryly that there wasn’t one. If you smoke anywhere in the hotel, including outside, you’d be fined $250. It was insane! She also informed me about a sign outside that said about the “no smoking policy” while the front of the hotel was completely under renovation. If there is a sign, it is nowhere visible! The service was terrible, and the hotel itself was awful. I hope they go out of business.

I had the worse time this guy around the new house keeping sucks staff was rude except one time smells like marijuana dirty rags on shower bar from last visitor then i ask for a mop bc I spilled something I gotten up with towel and was told they will bring a mop and another one and then turn around and try to hold me accountable got the towel and charge me 55.00 and lie and said it was outside the room after 3p.m. I didn't check-in till after 3p.m. and the person who brought the new towel was suppose to take the dirty towel but they didn't do this hotel is really going down since 9 mo ago you would have thought with the new modeling that it would be awesome but it's not even they deposits keep going up every other week!!! I wouldn't recommend
