SpringHill Suites by Marriott St. Petersburg Clearwater

Nothing really just an ordinary place. The smell as you walk in. It was terrible. Also, not up to standards of other SpringHill Suites I have stayed.

I chose it for the location near PIE airport. I stayed due to a storm. The staff is sweet. The hotel isn’t great but it’s not a vacay destination. So for what it is - it’s fine. I felt safe - room clean. It’s a bit worn

The staff were extremely kind and helpful. I appreciated the complimentary bottled water. The breakfast was good and hot and a nice variety. My only negative was the mattress had a dip in the center which was uncomfortable.

The property overall was OK. To be honest, it didn't feel like a Marriott at all. Even though the staff was really helpful and attentive, the property itself was not well maintained (not because the staff has nothing to do with it). The carpet on the 3rd floor hallway was stinky. The room was Ok. It had a nice little space, but it looked outdated overall. Also, the beds on the Double Bed Room were actually Full size beds. Which made it a little uncomfortable for our family since my husband is a tall person and the children tend to move a lot while sleeping. I paid to wash clothes, but the washing machine was not working properly. It was not doing the last spin, so clothes ended up soaking wet, not drained at all. The Dryer was working fine, but since the washing machine was not draining the clothes, the 30 mins dryer cycle was not enough. Again, staff was super attentive and helpful, so they ended up drying our clothes in the Hotel's industrial dryer. I would give the breakfast a 6 out of 10 since there was not too many options to choose from. But everything was clean and well presented. Staff was making the best they could do with what they have. The property needs an update overall for the workers to have a great working environment and the guests a better experience.

Room no microwave, Tue-Fri room never cleaned. On Thurs. came in & emptied trash & took some dirty towels all but 2. Paint peeling over the window and hanging like it was about to fall.

It was a decent stay for one night only. I just needed to shower and sleep. The furniture is outdated. I expected a modern look being that it’s the Marriot.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Pool was small but was refreshing and clean.

The front desk staff was exceptional and the breakfast staff was exceptional. The cleaning service sucked. I cleaned my room for my family and myself four days. I changed the bedding myself. I cleaned the bathroom. The sinks swept the floors myself went down and got the vacuum to do that and returned all the dirty towels to the laundry myself.

Clean room and nice hotel

They allowed us to check in early in the am! Happy with the service Phone just rings and rings

Great room

There was blood on the pillow, paint peeling from the ceiling. Stains in the pullout mattress and the bath tub looked horrible.
