Sleep Inn Clearwater - St Petersburg

The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Really good breakfast offered. Good selection for all; clean space and well supplied. Room was a little damp, turning the A/C, helped with that. Our TV did not get good reception. It would lose signal and pixilate. Close to restaurants.

Everything was excellent

We were only there for a short time since our flight was delayed but the hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable.

Staff were excellent! Great location near PIE. Free airport transportation (just schedule a day or 2 in advance at the front desk). Pretty pool and hot tub area but we didn't utilize. Our room appeared very clean but had a very strong terrible odor (think nasty pet shop.....). We only stayed here for one night for our flight the next day. I do recommend because of price, location, pretty clean, and staff! If you're needing perfect, this probably isn't the one.

I felt this was a good property for the price. In general the property is in decent shape, maybe a few elements are bit run down. There was a persistent smell like mildew in my room, it may have been from the air conditioner. The entertainment options from the tv are pretty limited compared to other properties I have been to recently, it is only a limited selection of cable channels with no streaming. The hot tub and pool were both clearly dirty but had good temperatures and the area around them is well kept. The breakfast was well stocked and I thought very good for a Sleep Inn. I enjoyed the view of the runway and flight traffic from the airport. I didn't find plane noise to be particularly disruptive.

The ac in the room was in and out. It was blowing at 60 and constant when we entered and it was stuffy and each time we came in it was stuffy and it would go in and out from blowing cold air and just air. We had a “pool view” room as told by the check in employee but there was tape all over the window and couldn’t see anything out so that was kind of comical. The walls in the room had some damage but the room was fine otherwise. The room was good for a quick one night stay and met all my needs, otherwise I would not recommend it for a long stay.

I always stay the night before an early flight. I have taken their airport shuttle at 5am and/or driven myself several times. They always have everything I need. Keep up the great work!

The older lady at the front desk she was amazing great customer service. Everything was great.

Reception lady in day time was rude, didn’t allow me to do a late checkout when most hotels do, however she did allow me to stay 30 mins extra.

The staff were helpful and had good recommendations for local beaches. Very close to the airport.

We could not access the internet in our room (131). It was very inconvenient and, although reported to the front desk, was not available during our stay.--only in the lobby!

Breakfast was good and hot every morning
