We stay here at least twice per year and it’s always been very clean and quiet. The price is extremely reasonable with a beautiful view.
-
The room had roaches, the hotel was small and old all the amenities were old, the bellman cart, the ice machine and the entrance couch. Every thing was old and outdated. The staff was friendly, the hotel was right on the beach, they don’t provide any chairs or umbrellas, no any find of service on the beach, there is no bathroom on the beach and the outdoor pool is too small. There is not enough parking spots in the parking lot.

Love this hotel and we’ve stayed here before. This time the elevator did not work which was very disappointing.
-
The room was clean and the staff professional and courteous. It would be nice if they added USB charging outlets in the rooms. The pool was nice, but small. The beach was supposed to be private, but was not monitored, so unauthorized people used it. The hotel is conveniently located to restaurants, shops, and public beaches.

Hotel was decent for one night. The downside we found was the room's carpet; as soon as we opened the door, we noticed a really strong, unpleasant odor—a mix of dampness and dirt in that room, that odor kept there the whole night and I am sure it was the carpet, very dark so you might guess. The hotel is right by the sea and quite affordable compared to the others in the area, but personally, I wouldn't stay there for more than one night. If budgeting is your thing then its a good choice.

Great spot! Unfortunately the elevator was broke. We were on 5th floor. Plenty of exercise. We would stay here again. 😎

Friendly and helpful staff and the partial beach view with private beach. The size of the room was grwat as well, very spacious. I will definitely be back for another stay at the Gulfview hotel.

People .. atmosphere… local…price

The location was great. Not very far from Pier 60 but far enough for a little more privacy. The private beach and pool/hot tub was where we spent most of our time. The room was clean and beds very comfortable with a great view from the balcony.

Firstly we were at the pool and these two young guys jimped over the fence and deciddd to invite themselves to the pool and promptly drinking booze like there was no tomorrow. Then the hotel next door has blaring music until 2am so never got much sleep. Rooms run down and not worth the money we paid.
-
Pool and hot tub and close to everything, price is really good as well. Water wasn’t hot for shower and elevator was broke down first half vacation and I was on 5th (top) floor
-
nothing went well poor beach--broken elevator--no on premises eating places--poorly located window units--out dated building in general
-
The private beach in itself was amazing, but being on the quieter side of town away from all the chaos is what made it so much better. Being able to walk to all the restaurants and stores nearby, as well as only being a 20 minute walk to the main strip. Not being able to rent chairs or umbrellas on the beach, having to go to the hotels next to us in hopes they have any left to rent.
-
Clerks very uninspired about their job. Elevator wasn’t working. Ok for one night.
-
Location only! It was just not good! Elevator didn’t work and trekking up to the 5th floor in a non air conditioned hallway SUCKED! The stair way is small so if people are going both up and down u have to wait. No breakfast…is this 1982…what hotel has no breakfast? Horrible will never return!
-
The elevator is not working. Make sure your elderly can walk up to 5th floor. Hotel needs to be updated. It smells very bad.
-
Elevator not working. Front desk man stated repairmen would be there the next day. Did not happen. Would have stayed on a lower floor if it wasn't going to be fixed the next day. The 4 days we were there was never fixed.
-
Priced well for the area. The room had a musty smell. I wish they had beach chairs on the sand.
