Hampton Inn & Suites Clearwater Beach

My son and I had a wonderful time. We were sad to leave. Checking in was a breeze. The front desk staff was great. Greg was amazing about answering any questions we had. Our balcony was "City View" but, it still had stunning views. Having the beach just steps away was convenient and absolutely beautiful. The pool is right on the beach as well. It was the perfect size even when crowded. Kory and Breonna were stellar!!! We can't wait to come back!

All of the staff for the hotel was warm, welcoming and attentive except for the service staff taking orders while sitting on the beach. We were overlooked on multiple occasions and had to go up to the bar to place our order. The front desk was incredible, with great guidance of the hotel amenities and recommendations for the restaurant on the property which had amazing pizzas! The room was clean, but it did have a musky smell that never went away and we need had room service. The breakfast was perfect. What was very unfortunate was the lack of fireworks on 4th of July. We were told that there would be fireworks from across the water that we could see and that was not accurate.

This hotel was a hotel that had its little quirks but it is one that I would stay at again. To start off with the pros, the beds were comfy and the view was gorgeous. Breakfast was a huge for us. Vacationing with 3 kids going downstairs to an already done and tasty breakfast, made mornings such a breeze. The pool is from 3.5ft-5ft deep and it was PERFECT. Kids approved. Beach was clean and the water was always warm. There was an inexpensive bar right outside the pool and music daily to give “vacay vibes”. Now for the cons, there is no smoking on the balcony which I failed to read as I booked the hotel. That wasn’t a huge con but just a little since my husband enjoys cigars on vacation. The biggest con is the beach/pool towel situation. It is awesome that they provide them but make sure to sign them back in BIG FONT AND BOLDED. I was charged $75ish and then $11ish on my credit card. I went downstairs and talked to Greg, awesome guy, and he was able to remove those charges because I did sign my towels back in. Once we arrived back home, I was charged another $30. When I called, the lady at the front desk said it was for towels I took today and didn’t sign them back in. I told her that this happened before and I was making sure to sign them back in clearly so I didn’t get charged again. She didn’t budge so I left it to not argue. Overall, I would stay here again. Just need to make sure to bring my highlighter and highlight my towel sign outs/ins!!

Clean room, beach view

I highly recommend this place when staying in Clearwater! Great hotel with lots of amenities. Private beach access with chairs and umbrellas to rent each day for cheap. There are towels to check out each day, so no need to travel with your own. The complimentary breakfast was a great added bonus to our stay. The outdoor bar and food service was wonderful, and we loved being served right to our chairs on the beach! Staff were incredibly helpful and kind throughout the entire stay. We forgot several toiletries when packing for our trip and the front desk had everything we needed complimentary. Our room was cleaned every other day and the balcony was such a great perk that we enjoyed each day. Live music was relaxing and not too loud while relaxing on the beach. We will definitely be back again!

Is an amazing hotel. The beach was excellent and service was very professional.

We had a wonderful stay at Hampton Inn & Suites. The lobby staff were very friendly and always greeted us with a smile, which made us feel very welcome. We requested a connecting room and they arranged it quickly, which we really appreciated. The pool area is not too big but well maintained, and we absolutely loved the private beach access—it made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. Breakfast was fairly basic with not many options, but it was still convenient for a quick start to the day. Overall, we had a great experience stay here. Highly recommended!

Ice machine did not work.Mattress was not comfortable and noisy.Ocean view but it was blocked by there restaurant and people would look up at you no privacy.Free breakfast was horrible. I guess 375 a night you get what you pay for. 1 drink at the beach 26 dollars omg
