SpringHill Suites by Marriott Clearwater Beach

I asked for 3 rooms together and it did not happen. This was a family trip. I had two rooms on the sixth floor and one room on the fourth floor. Even called Expedia back to verify this was happening and they verified that it did. I end up calling the hotel prior to us arriving and they had no record of our stay there. They had to go through a lot to find the actual confirmation numbers that Expedia gave me the wrong ones. And when I arrived there like I said, the rooms were not together. And when booking this hotel, nothing was mentioned about paying $25 for self parking and $41 for valet. Other than that, the hotel is very nice to stay at

The location of the hotel was good and parking was available for a fee…The room was clean but the cleaning lady only cleaned 2 days out often 5 days we stayed …staff was not friendly and the breakfast was ok because things were finishing and the staff was not replacing it back … I will not be staying in this hotel again.

A great find close to the beach with a fantastic breakfast included. Our stay at SpringHill started our holiday perfectly and we would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay at Clearwater.

Hotel location is convenient to the beach and walking to restaurants and activities. Pool area was nice and clean except for the border around the pool that came coming off and causing kids to get cut a few times. Food and bar are 10/10 and I love that Starbucks is next door. Valet attendants were also 10/10

Great location. Clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Unsafe room- broken bathroom door, my daughter was trapped in the bathroom. Also leak through the light of the shower from the room above. This happened twice, once at 10pm and then again at midnight. Nothing was done to fix this. The electricity was not isolated and we were left without a bathroom light. Luckily this was our last night. The noise of the pouring water also kept us awake. The phone in the room also did not work meaning we could not ring for help with any of the issues. Having to get out of bed, get dressed and go back down in a lift to reception at midnight was not ideal!! Our room faced out on the main road and it was noisy with traffic and music from neighbouring bars. This is something to note if you are away with children and go to bed earlier.

Location was beyond perfect, the complimentary breakfast buffet was good and the staff was awesome! The elevators have a mind of their own and was told by front desk staff over the phone that housekeeping only comes every other day, requested towels and never got them!

We arrived early, but alll of the staff was very helpful and got us checked in and let us park. It is very conveniently located and the breakfast was wonderful!

Bathrooms are outdated, bad shower tub conditions, shower head is completely non functional, water goes from chill to hot as the handle doesn't control it well. The sliding door lock had snapped off, risking privacy for a family group. Nothing like bathing in fear 😬 The mattresses are rock solid and the pillows are almost empty inside. Suggestions for in-room safes continue to be not heard. Room clean ups every 2 days is OK and manageable, but definitely challenging for a family coming to a beach town for vacation. The pull out couch bed sofa need updating, the springs are extremely uncomfortable even for our 40lb child, yet alone older kids. The location, price point, the breakfast and good/polite staff are the only plus. But overall this is the last visit at this hotel for my family.
