The hotel has a nice location close to restaurants, beach and stores, and because of that is very busy, they charge 41 for valet parking. Breakfast was really good

Hi! I was a guest at Residence Inn, Coronado Dr. Clearwater, FL from June 27, 2026 to July 4, 2026. The overal service and maintenance of the hotel was good. I want to report an unfortunate experience at check out. My self and my wife stopped at the front desk to copmlete the check out. A young lady prepared the papers and handed out to me a receipt. I did not pay attention, but my wife looked up at the receipt and notice that we were charge $284.62 for parking. I told the clerge that we do not have a car. We are not able to drive. After a short argument she was able to override the charge. First, I am so disappointed she did not tell us about the extra parking charge. If it was not for my wife I could have been wrongly charged. Then she was looking at us like being guilty. It was such a bad emotional experience. She never apologized or saying "sorry". I am very disappointed. People, please make sure you are not "fooled out" at check out process. A.C.

This place is so outdated rooms smell pools over crowded not worth 365

Water pressure was substandard. It was barely enough to wash soap off yourself. Pool was not nearly large enough for the number of people staying at hotel. Also it was disappointing having to pay for valet parking through the hotel for $42 per day.

Great room and great area I wasent a fan of having to use the hot elevators every 5 minutes to get everywhere

Overall, we were pleased with the proximity to the beach and central location in Clearwater Beach. The room was okay, but dated and dark. The kitchen and separate bedroom were nice. Unfortunately, it was inconveniently located directly above Coco's Crush Bar. A band played music each night of our stay until 12:00 AM. It was so loud it made falling asleep difficult. Keep this in mind if you are traveling with younger children.

When doing the reservation we made sure that parking was included. When we arrived to the property, they explained that valet parking was part of the stay and that it cost $38 per day, per vehicle. Unfortunately, we had to bring two vehicles and we certainly were not ready for this additional expense. Something else that I found very odd was the lack of housekeeping services. We stayed for three nights and had to either go to the front desk to ask for clean towels or look around for the person doing housekeeping to asked for clean towels as they never stopped by our room. The breakfast was OK. The pool is significantly small for the amount of guests that this property can hold.

Overall it was a decent stay. I booked a queen suite and my family was given a handicap room that looked nothing like the picture nor did we have a balcony. There were a few areas that had chipped paint. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the pool. Love the close location to the beach.

Bar right on property was nice. I had to ask for coffee every day. Had to ask for wash clothes twice during the week.

My biggest complaint is how much it cost to park when you are staying there.

I had an excellent experience during my stay. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. The breakfast offered a great variety of fresh options and was a perfect way to start the day. The kitchen and dining area were clean and organized, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

I do not recommend staying here it is no worth your money. The beds are hard, the pool is too small for two hotels to share so it’s extremely crowded. But worst of all is the outdoor sounds travels through the windows all night long. Our room was above an outdoor bar that kept us and our children up til 1am with there loud outdoor band.

The staff's service is excellent, the location is very good, and the breakfast is very good with a good variety.

The breakfast buffet was convenient, but the food quality and selection could be improved. The offerings were fairly mediocre and lacked variety compared to what we expected.

Loved the view from our room and having a full fridge, stove and kitchen was so helpful for our stay. Made a huge difference for us. And having guest laundry available was a bonus.

Very nice view on clearwater

Pool was very nice and we appreciated the safety feature of needing to use a key card to enter the pool area- kids CANNOT get to the pool without an adult. We were traveling with 3 kiddos so this was huge for us. Every attraction we wanted was within walking distance. We walked through a souvenir shop to get to the ocean. 5 walk to the dolphin/pirate tour boats. 10 minute walk to Pier 60. Kings Pizza was a 5 minute walk and was DELICIOUS. Only negative was parking- $38 a day parking was a little intense, but for a beach town and garage/valet parking I understand the inflated cost.
