Residence Inn by Marriott Clearwater Beach

It was good hotel in a great location. I just don’t like they make you valet for $45 a day.

Mucho ruido de la musica del restaurant/pub vecino. Mucho desorden en el desayuno por la construcción y no habia nadie para guiar....

It was a mess. They sent an email 2 days before my trip and said they were renovating the lobby. Well when I got there every floor was being renovated. The room itself was nice but the hotel itself was nothing but signs everywhere saying renovation. Couldn’t get food by the pool due to this and complimentary breakfast was the same everyday. They didn’t change the breakfast up at all. Hopefully in December when renovations are done it will be better.

Under massive construction- they wont tell you this nor will Expedia. Smells horrible in hallways and looks disgusting

This is not our first time at this hotel and we found the room clean and comfortable as usual. They are doing some major renovations at the moment which I was unaware when I booked earlier in the year. The buffet breakfast had reduced items as had been relocated to two separate rooms, drinks in one food in another. Staff didn’t seem to be bothered too much and I didn’t feel they paid any attention. Sitting on the edges of service tables and chatting to each other.

The Hotel was in renovations and that wasn't stated on the app. Therefore the hotel was very crowded for a Holiday weekend (Labor Day). Also they charged me $40 to park my car overnight (with Valet when they even didn't park my car, I did it myself) when I already booked and pay over $250 for one night. This was not stated on the app either. If I knew this before, I would have booked somewhere else. Also free breakfast didn't have many options besides very soggy scrambled eggs and potatoes. I won't be booking on this Hotel again. I am a Marriott Member for over 20 years and always loved Marriott hotels l, but after this experience I will reconsider to book with another Hotel Chain in the future.

We asked for new towels many times, Staff were not supportive. Furniture is old, the sofa bed was almost broken. Room isnt clean.

I love this hotel. I've stayed there my last 3 vacations. They started construction to renovate the building the week before we arrived. Although they hid the construction well, it was difficult getting an elevator (2 of which were broken most of this stay), the pool was closed 1 day, housekeeping was not up to par this stay, the workers were very loud outside my balcony during the day, breakfast was reduced (no more waffle maker and no more flavored coffee creamer), just overall not what I've experienced in the past. I'm sure when the renovation is over, it will be a 5 star stay again. The staff was incredibly polite, welcoming and helpful, as usual. I really dislike the front desk being at the parking garage level. Looking forward to the lobby being open again!

I recommend asking for a room far from the music of the restaurant.

Perfect location to the beach! There is an ice cream shop next door with excellent ice cream.

We did not like that the only way to order from the hotels restaurant was to stand out in the sun by the pool. Makes trying to feed your family very uncomfortable. Also the hall ways are very warm and dirty. There were smashed chips all through the hall from the day we checked in to the day we left. We saw house keeping carts in the hall each day not sure why they did not bother to clean them up.
