Close to the beach and all the shops and restaurants Pool was closed, termites and roaches in my first room. Second room had two double beds instead of a king and it was our anniversary. Dryer had fallen out of wall, shower spraying all directions including the ceiling, the plumbing was slow and required plunging. Doors had to be shoved open and closed. Just a very old building that needs to be demolished and rebuilt.

The pool was not in service and also they do not know when it will be repair, also we were not notified at all that the pool is not available, the bathtub was clogged. We were right across the street of the pool and all the restaurant.

The staff were friendly and the beds were comfortable! The location is perfect! There are so many things within walking distance to do! Our room faced the Gulf so we had beautiful views! The pool is closed, but we came for the beach so it didn't ruin our time. My two minor complaints are 1) our room had two beds in it and one of them was right next to the door. It made me uncomfortable to have my head a foot from the door knob especially because this is an outside door, not a door to a enclosed secure hotel hallway. 2) the elevator lagged. We often worried we were going to get trapped in there, but we never did.

The rooms interior was old, seemed clean, the furniture and the like in the room was very old, looked like mold in the bathroom but it was probably just the age of the place IDK. I was very disappointed because of the age of the room AND the view of the gulf was blocked by cabanas on the beach looked like miles of blue tents and also the large palm tree near the porch of my of my room the vantage point looking towards the gulf . The pictures on the internet were VERY deceiving, I was told i was probably looking at pictures that were 20 years old. Too many people at clear water beach for me, it was like a circus near the round about , I will never go back the there it's not for me . I was told that the owner was shutting down this facility after the week we stayed due to its age, and the pool was shut down due to structural problems and the whole building itself was apparently having structural problems. It was said that they would be tearing down this hotel and building a new high rise

I have stayed at The Beachview Inn several times. It is a total gem right on Clearwater Beach. The pool was closed and I was sad to kearn they are closing this hotel for good. I was one of the very last guests. Not sure what they are doing with the property, but Beachview Inn will certainly be missed.

Room was clean. A little old and out dated. Elevator was very old and run down and so slow. Staff was really friendly. The continental breakfast was sufficient. Pool was closed so we couldn’t use it. They said they will give me a 60% discount because of that and I’m still waiting for it a week later. Very close and convenient to the beach and restaurants which was a huge plus.

Bad experience, not coming back. Door keys doesn't work. Hard to find people at front desk to help me open the door. Waited long time outside. Had to go up and down the building twice. to find staff to help me. A lot of flying termites crawling in the bed and flying all over the room at night time. I had to block the bottom of the door with the towels, so they can't get inside the room.

The stay itself was good, rooms were clean breakfast was doable, but at the last minute was notified the pool was closed . The hotel was willing to do refund but Hotels.com was making it a big hassle so we couldn’t even get a room someplace else that had a pool and Clearwater Beach in June you definitely needed the extra water time.

The balcony door lock didn't work. The kitchen light didn't work either. Beside that, the unit was good. Nice view to the beach ⛱️ 👌 😎

Great location. Old school Florida beach hotel. 3-story. Beach towels provided. Clearwater beach itself is very crowded but lots of sun shelters for rent from the city. Many eating places nearby. It met our needs. Rooms could have been a little cleaner but beds were comfy and having a fridge and little balcony was nice.

The location was excellent, but the hotel is very run down. The bathrooms had a lot of mold in the shower area. The bathroom fan did not work in our room. If you are on the backside of the hotel, there is a lot of noise from the bars across the street. If you want an extremely basic room in Clearwater Beach, and you don't intend on spending much time in the room, this may be a good option for you.

The staff and Management went way out of their way to help me fix an issue on my banks end. They were very kind and helped me all the way through it. everything was great.

Noting. The only thing that is ok is the location, but I didn't like the beach there either, super busy and crowded. Do not recommend. It's ugly and expensive. Everything needs to be updated.

Overall, it was good. The only issue was that the air conditioning didn’t cool very well, and there was no ceiling fan in room 213.
