Motel 6 Colchester, VT - Burlington

Very convenient. There was a McDonald's in the same parking lot so you could get breakfast.

Staff was very nice and helpful, but very sketchy area and many people were hanging around outside of the building making it seem very unsafe, as well as rundown cars and the two fast food joints being very unprofessional looking and rundown.

We got there with our 2 dogs on a hot day, and the room air conditioner wasn’t working. We were quickly relocated which was nice, to a room with 2 beds rather than 1, not so nice. There was no hot breakfast, and the coffee was not great, with just powdered creamer. There is evidence that remodeling is underway, but the quality of work is not great. Most of the residents we saw were maybe homeless, disabled, recovering, smoking outside around all the exits. They were well behaved, but be advised. For about $145/night, the cheapest we could find, we were shocked with the cost of lodging in the Burlington area.

Location - near to family Excessive number of dogs, with lots of barking at all hours

Very reasonable price, but a bit shady. Looked out my window on checkout day and saw two squad cards and cops with a battering ram. Needless to say I was out well before checkout time. Close to highway and some places to eat, just not the Hilton.

Room was fine The hotel is a lil dated but they look to be updating it

The staff was nice and efficient. The bed wasn't very comfortable.

The bed was comfortable As soon as we walked in the bathroom was completely muddy and dirty on the floor very gross for a room for $100 it should have been very clean. Very disappointed

Everything you expect from a Motel 6; simple, but clean room. The room was a little small, but always appreciate no carpet and a fridge

The staff were all great and very helpful. The room was a good size and pretty clean. Location was ok. Not quite sure how to comment on this occasion. I think Motel 6 need to make customers fully aware of the circumstances surrounding this Motel at the time of booking. It is utilised by numerous members of the public. Veterans, the homeless and families who need emergency accommodation. I'm not against any of this, but it might of changed my mind at the time of booking. There were also numerous dogs in the building which were barking through the night and people were smoking pot all around the property. We never felt threatened, it was just a odd thing to turn up to. Would I stay again? Maybe.

The hotel was ok for 1 night, however it looks like the hotel also rents out rooms months at a time with a lot of the monthly residence hanging around the outside and inside hallways area. Also hanging out in there automobiles , If Nothing else in my price range wasn’t available I would stay again however if it’s just a few dollars more I would stay somewhere else

They only had coffee for breakfast, and it was good. It was quiet day and night. It’s conveniently located near the highway. It had obviously been cleaned, but maybe by someone who didn’t have their glasses on. Ambiance is “college dorm room.”
