So happy to have found this wonderful hotel. Each room is themed around Texas A&M and Texas. Beautiful courtyard. Breakfast and evening reception were simple, but decent. If I'm back in the area would stay here again.
-
Nice property tucked away from busy streets. Quaint and a bit dated but that makes it so charming. Great rates too.
-
Loved it just wish it had a hot tub but still give it 8 stars!

Staff is fantastic and didn’t mind me parking my school/ cool bus in the parking area. They greeted me by name every day I was there.. great hotel well worth the money (20/20 hotel)

The room was clean and the staff excellent. Breakfast was good, and I one of the guest's fix my waffle. Also, there was a mixup on my registration dates, and the lady behind the desk help with way I dates I wanted at a really good rate. I mentioned the guests. I met some more that live there, and they are very nice and helpful. They offered to help bring in my things and take them out when I left.

Great hidden gem. Kid and pet friendly with beautiful grounds. The staff is amazing, like no one else in the city. I would stay again.

Loved everything about this place except for the strong smell of Fabuloso. Super friendly staff, felt safe in the location, and you really can't beat the price for what you get. Will definitely stay there again!

The room was clean and the complex was very quiet. Great location.

Nice place, pleasant courtyard, good location. The room however, smelled musty.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is without a doubt the most filthy and disgusting “hotel” if you want to call it that, that I have ever stepped foot into. The room smelled like a Once Upon A Child resale store- heavily perfumed over unclean. Stains everywhere, black couch covered in stains, gummy carpet. Black mold coming out of the ac vents. The bed linens had male hairs in the sheets and red stains on the comforter. There was also a red fluid spattered on one wall. The woman at the front desk was nice and moved me to another room but the lack of basic cleanliness still applied. Also a giant iron bed frame a foot taller than me was leaning at a precarious angle over the head of the bed because the screws were stripped and since I didn’t want to be crushed to death, murdered or contract some disease I immediately left and cancelled my reservation. The Wyndham Garden on Texas Ave is AMAZING. Stay there instead.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was set up nicely and the wine and cheese happy hour was a nice touch. Overall the property is nice but dated. You can tell it used to be very fancy and the Tuscany theme is really cute. The hotel is set-up for long term stay so the kitchen and laundry room are nice to have. Unfortunately, our room smelled like some kind of drugs covered by heavy scented cleaning detergent. I am very sensitive to smells so that hit me very hard. Otherwise, we would have been satisfied with the property for price paid. Parking and noise wasn't an issue. It is located very close to restaurants & University campus.

The staff was amazing. The room was good, with a full kitchen which was exactly what I needed.

It was very clean the room was the neatest I’ve seen enjoyed it very much They closed the pool way to early they said they had to work on it that night but nobody did and the next day nobody was out there cleaning or working on it she turned people away when all they wanted a quick dip from a long drive to relax

The property was cozy & in a good area. Pretty outdated. I think the property would be so much better with some upgrades.
-
Not recommended for families but only cause it’s an older property. Doesn’t really offer anything for families. If you are traveling alone and just need 1 maybe 2 nights and are looking for a cheap place it’s ok. Conveniently located. It’s half hotel half “long term stays” so there’s that. I felt like I traveled back to the 70s. That said everyone was very nice .

Affordable and very nice looking
-
Well kept older style motel run by respectable people. I’d stay there again.
-
Spacious living space. Sofa was not comfortable.
-
Definitely going to stay here again, again and again.

The staff is amazing and friendly and helpful. It was quiet .. people clearly were living there full time and they were quiet and respectful. It’s just really old and outdated, they just need to put some money in it for updates and renovations, new beds etc. beds are rough, you can’t share a king without rolling downhill into each other and every time you move the springs are so loud they keep each other wane. Didn’t sleep much at all either night.
