Americas Best Value Inn Collinsville St. Louis

Very dirty.

It was affordable and the beds and floors were clean. The bathroom seemed kinda gross (stains on the shower curtains, dried red droplets on the door), but I've been in worse. There was nothing for breakfast but a coffee vending machine and a tiny packet of donuts, so don't expect the "free breakfast," but it's right next to a Denny's and across from a Bob Evans. Not free, but nearby good breakfasts. The chain for the door was broken, so it didn't feel the safest, but there was almost no one else there, so I didn't have to find out how safe it really was.

It did the job, cheap option near St Louis. Nothing wrong with the room, some frogs on the pool cover.

Shower water pressure and mattress No hand soap or kleenex, sheets and blankets seemed to small for king, more like queen, thin walls (heard numerous neighbors and people walking outside), pool was closed and covered partially, breakfast consisted of a coffee, package of 3 donnettes or yogurt. The frogs are extremely loud and night

Can’t recommend. Towels questionably clean, run down, lumpy bed, noisy. The only positive thing was the ice machine.

This place needs to be closed for business. I noticed mold, right away, in the lobby, upon the desk. Walked into the room and was taken aback by the pungent order of mildew. Very dim lighting in the room. Very and out dated bedding. Not clean only orderly. Horrible conditions here. Nothing!

Hotel was overbooked and they canceled my reservation but I wasn’t notified of the cancellation until I went to check into the hotel. Staff at the hotel was terrible and not helpful at all. The rep was absolutely rude and not willing to assist with giving me a letter to confirm that I didn’t stay at the hotel so when they try to not reverse the charges I would have proof. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THE HOTEL EVER!!!

outside property needs better cleaning and matinance

Good hot water for shower and A/C worked. Location to International Horseradish Festival Dirty carpet, garbage in corners, wouldn't go barefoot or with socks on, overpriced for festival weekend.

It was terrible

Everything is pretty good.

It was right next to a Denny's The bed had dirty linens. I complained to the front desk and they showed us another room and there were food crumbs on the sheet. I showed it to staff and explained we wouldn't be able to stay there. I asked we not be charged for the room. But we were charged anyway.

No hot water at all

The staff was friendly and respectful I was not impressed the sheets were dirty pillow cases had stains on them my wash cloth looked to have been used dried and placed back on drying rack

Convenient, right next to Denny's. You get what you pay for. Very clean. Comfortable room. Shabby infrastructure, skimpy breakfast.

Nice close location to highway and helpful staff. Room could be cleaner and breakfast options was lean.

That I had somewhere to sleep The environment. They said no smoking but smelled like cigarettes and weed. No staff got me extra towels. Had to return key in basket no stairs was around to get me my deposit.
