Extended Stay America Select Suites - Colorado Springs

I appreciate the location. Working full sized refrigerator and 2 stove burners for cooking. Audible car maintenance could be heard right outside my room on the first floor for three days of my seven night stay.

Absolutely nothing Had to wait forever to check in because no one was at the front desk. As soon as you leave the front desk area the entire hotel smells like dogs, cigarettes and filth. The elevator took absolutely forever and when my young son and I got off on our floor a man with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth watched us down the hallway to what room we went into. There were kids screaming in a room in our hallway and the room itself was old and gross and bare. About a step above a prison cell. We immediately checked out. The man with long hair at the front desk also had extremely string and offensive BO.

Tried checking in at 12:30 am after a six hour drive. Front Desk was closed. Sign on the wall next to a phone said to dial 500 to reach the night shift manager. Phone didn’t work. I called the Extended Stay main number and the agent said he would telephone the night manager and let him know guests were in the lobby. After 30 minutes (it’s now 1:00 am) I called again and the agent patched me through to the night manager. The night manager refused to come to the hotel (I had prepaid on a booking site) and his excuse was that the back-office system was closed for the night and he couldn’t do anything about it. After giving him a piece of my mind, I hung up and slept in my car.

Staff was great Mattress not so good

Dirty bed, hairs, stains, and possibly bugs. Couldn’t sleep under the covers and terrible neighbors

Siren environment I had nothing to dislike

Affordable Elevator was broken and not scheduled to be repaired for 6 weeks. I was put on the 4th floor and made to contend with 8 flights of stairs to go to or leave my room. The manager and front desk employees were cruel and unprofessional

Terrible hotel elevator hasn’t worked for over a month dog poop in the hallways. You have to walk up four flights of stairs to gets to your room every day. randoms will walk up and talk to you In Parking lot & they are predatory when it comes to parking, they will tow your car or guest.

Affordable The management team were cruel and never returned my deposits.

Staff Not enough time to stay

Broken elevator rude management lost deposit how can you lose a deposit and have a broken elevator and put me up on the very top floor and don't tell me about the elevator issue till after I pay for everything

Do not stay here elevator doesn't work but they don't tell you this till after you pay and they put you on the 4rh floor. Management and staff very rude and unhelpful.

The halls reek of MJ, when it is supposed to be smoke free. People staying there are loud. I wouldn't bother staying here again if it was free. I clean professionally for a living. The walls are filthy, covered in grease and obvious nicotine. There are handprints and dirt all over the bathroom. The kitchenette has grease all over the backsplash behind the stove top and the sink.

My partner and I booked a 2 night stay at Extended Stay in Colorado Springs. I had booked this chain of hotel due to my previous positive experience at other locations. This location was completely different. We arrived an hour after the front desk closed, as we were traveling from out of state. Per directions, we used the wall phone to call the “on call” worker. The phone didn’t work. We called the hotel number, but no answer. Called the 1-800 number for Extended Stay, but they ended the call prematurely. Tried a few other phone numbers suggested to us by other residents, who had similar problems checking in. By the time we finally got in contact with the “on call” worker, we had been waiting for 40 minutes. After finally checking in, we were assigned a room that had not been cleaned. No sheets, dirty bathroom, no clean towels, sticky stove top, chair with noticeable stains, etc. We were disgusted and ready to just find another place to stay atp. We went back down to the front desk, telling her of our troubles and asking for a refund so we might go somewhere else after this experience. She explained that we could try getting a refund, but that we would have to call several customer service numbers to ‘possibly’ receive a refund. After a 11 hour drive, and having now been at the property for an hour without a room, we decided to just stay in another room. Wish we had just left. The place was smelly, dirty, unaccommodating, had a broken elevator, odd residents, & rude staff.

Staff was friendly enough

Nothing. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. More of a halfway house. The smell of smoke both nicotine and Marijuana was unbelievable throughout the building. People smoking in front of the doors, you had to walk through smoke every time you entered. Dried paint all over the floor in the unit. Both side exit doors where locked with large signs on saying you could not exit. The elevator was inoperable for several days.
