Holiday Inn Express & Suites Colorado Springs Central by IHG

It’s in a questionable area of town, which I know can’t be helped but worth noting. The lobby was HOT, hotter than outside so breakfast was miserable and they don’t have enough places to sit to eat for the size of the hotel. Lots of wasted space. The carpets in the lobby near the seating areas were stained and kind of gross looking. ( I have young children so I notice the things they’re touching) The room was sparse without amenities. Just the standard hand soap and shampoo pack. There was NOT an addition safety lock on the door, which was a huge turn off but it was so late we didn’t have the energy to change hotels. It’s probably the worst one within this chain that I’ve stayed at. Hopefully it gets fixed up to the same level of price they’re charging people. They also do a $100 hold for incidentals, which is typically $25 per hotel.

We had an excellent overnight stay before hiking pikes peak. Staff was incredibly kind. Morning breakfast and coffee was nice.

The bed was very comfortable. So were the pillows.

Fantastic hotel and staff. Newly remodeled with fancy new electric blinds and blackout shades. Close to several businesses and restaurants. Short walk to downtown. Street parking for larger vehicles. I had a 26’ box truck and they let me park in the lot. Decent warm breakfast. Recommend!

Breakfast was great, the carpet in our room was filthy. My toddlers feet were black after walking bare foot. Staff was friendly and beds were comfy

To start, I reserved 2 kings and ended up with one king and a queen. Check in was supposed to be at 3:00. I arrived at 3:30 and they barely had a room - with only a 10 minute wait. The chair in the room was filthy and with no chair pad. There was obviously something going on in the kitchen area with plastic pipes hanging down. The carpets were dirty. The breakfast buffet was typical. The gals did a good job of keeping things full. There was no one at the front desk - with only a sign that they would be back “later” so no chance to buy water bottle or snacks. Overall, just not worth the over inflated price.

We stayed here a couple times now and it’s always clean, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. This time they were under renovation, but it didn’t affect us at all. Will be staying here again.

This hotel was great. While it is under construction, and you can see work progressing in parts of the hotel, our room, as well as the lobby and amenities we used were clean and well taken care of. The policies at this hotel are great. They actually seem to care that their guests are taken care of. For instance, there laundry machines were complimentary, and you didn't have to pay $5 to wash a load of clothes. Such an amazing concept! Checkout was 12, instead of 10, like at many other hotels we stayed out on our trip. Parking was included. And last but not least, the breakfast was really good. They had a good variety, and it was well supplied. I recommend the cinnamon rolls.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was good as well. Without a doubt the better stays throughout my vacation in various states. Thanks you Holiday Inn.

Would have preferred the room to have a few more supplies (plates, cutlery, kettle, etc.).

Close to I-25 so great for our site-seeing trips to Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, as well as Downtown. Comfy bed. Spacious suite!
