La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Colorado Springs North

I stayed here for 2 days. It was incredibly clean. Very well maintained. I met with some lovely ladies that were very kind and helpful with answering my questions. I loved the pillows and bed. Wonderful experience. Thank you Heidi and Leslie for making my stay amazing.

This hotel is very rundown and dirty. We booked the hotel with the hopes that there would be a pool to swim. When we arrived on a Sunday, the office staff let us know that the pool was down for a day because they were waiting for maintenance to replace a breaker. There was no pool the entire week and no one had an answer on when it would be fixed. The carpets were very stained all through the hallways. The air-conditioning units in the main elevator lobbies were falling off the walls. The carpets in the bedroom were sticky and stained, and the trim and the door Base in the bathroom, had been scratched up and chewed up by animals that had stayed there. I figured being Wyndham, It would be a nice hotel but it was a very awful experience and I would not recommend staying there. Most of the clientele is residence working in the area and it seems like they really don’t care about it being a comfortable stay. It’s just a place that people sleep.

Front Desk Service was great. Easy and simple check in process. Only small downfall was them keeping up with the breakfast demand.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. The rooms were clean. The linens were actually soft compared to other lodges. The grounds outside could use some work but other than that I was very satisfied.

We mainly chose this hotel because it was dog friendly and priced well and we were in an emergent situation for a room so we were happy to find something available! The rooms were fine but ours did have a little bit of a wet dog smell but to be expected with a dog friendly room I guess? The rooms were cleanish but not spotless by any means. The area they had for dogs to use was terrible. Mud and rocks and weeds. I do think if you are a dog friendly hotel you should have a decent bathroom for the four legged guests. However, the beds were comfy, the ac was great, the staff were nice and helpful, and we were comfortable. A decent place to stay if you want to save some money but still bring your dog.

Told staff about the toilet, they said they'd put a work order in. It didn't happen. There were electric outlets that did not work. I was there after a surgical procedure and had to deal with a toilet that would not flush.

The hallways were dirty, chunks of doors and baseboards were missing, carpets in the room we stayed in were dirty, there was a slight odor upon entering the hotel, it was very muggy on the first floor and the smell of chlorine reeked throughout, the breakfast was terrible, we accidentally left three items in the room and called back to see if they were found. We drove back to the hotel to see if they could locate the items. They found one item immediately but took over an hour of searching to “find” the other two items….. when all three items were together in the same spot and same doom….. fishy. The AC unit rattled as well as heard running water all night and a TV remote didnt work. We checked out early after staying only the first night. Hotel run down, everything was cheaply “updated” like plastering over holes and painting the fixtures and doors and paint was peeling…… I think that’s all I can think of right now. If you are thinking of staying here - DON’T!!!

Cleanliness was not so great overall, pool was not open, workout facility had not so pleasant smell and some of the equipment not working or in poor condition.

Not to mention hallways with dirty stained carpet.

Staff was absolutely amazing. Kinza, Heidi and Leslie were an absolute pleasure to work with and talk too. They made me and all 18 of my employees feel welcomed. As a small business owner traveling from Los Angeles, CA to Colorado this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in the entire state. I highly recommend this place. The only downside was the pool was down for maintence and we were looking forward to that but that’s obviously nothing bad or to blame the staff for so a 4.5/5 star for me!

The room was dirty some of the outlets were falling off the shower was horrible no water pressure the room smelled like people prior smoked in it

We came at 11 pm to this La Quinta hotel, I made reservations ahead that we need a no pet allowed room due to allergies my kids have but they gave us whatever is available, in the basement, the floor was dirty, there were so much pet hairs, the table was dusty I have to clean it with wipes, the walls are damage, the sheets look dirty, my daughter actually found hairs, so ai went to the front desk to ask if they change the room, they said in the next day they will surely have other rooms open, the next day I came again around 1 pm, they said that I should have came before 11 am so that they can check for available room to exchange with what currently we have, So we have to settle for the dirty room we have for another day, Monday morning I came again to the front desk, good thing I approach the hotel manager and told her about my concern that we need to change room because of my kids allergies and the room that they gave us is dirty. She hesitated at first and gave us another room in the 4th floor and she also checked if we were ok with the new room she gave us. The new room at 4th floor is cleaner, no pet hairs and the sheets look clean, the TV is bigger compared to the one in he basement. After we were transferred, our stay were more ch better. For 5 days we stayed in the hotel, the breakfast food were always, eggs, sausage and potatoes, no variety l, and the usual waffles, breads n cereals.The pool is dirty so it’s unusable. The gym looks ok.

Very dirty, outdated, and dingy. There were also homeless people sleeping very close to the parking lot so it felt unsafe to go out at night or walk our dog.

I would just like to say me and my children had an amazing time in Colorado Springs and a great stay at Laquinta Inn. Heidi was so nice and helpful with me and assisting my family with great service and a welcoming attitude and hospitality that was amazing. Her staff were very attentive and helpful when we needed anything. Room was clean and smelled good as well as we slept in peace and quiet. We were very pleased staying at this establishment.

Everything was pretty awesome. Besides the pool being shut down that was kind of a disappointment, but we did enjoy ourselves.

The pool was closed down for the entirety of our stay which was unfortunate. The lobby furniture could be updated.
