Affordable place for families but needs a major renovation inside to update rooms. No elevator either. But it’s a place to stay right off the highway where you can explore Colorado Springs.

The hotel is an excellent value and location. Hotel is older and our room is dark/dreary as you couldn’t open the curtains or the indoor courtyard could see right in to our room. We had a shaky start to our stay. I tried calling the hotel twice just prior to check in and no answer, just kept ringing. They were short staffed and there was only 1 person checking in guests. I requested a rollaway bed and this did not come until almost 5 hours later, after 4 inquiries and just before we went to sleep. The manager and front desk person were just overwhelmed. Our keys didn’t work in the middle of our stay but thank goodness that was handled efficiently. I hope they get their staffing sorted out soon. Request a room with windows to the outer part of the hotel and not the courtyard.

Good place to stay if like to have no extra space in the room and like to walk on sticky hard wood floors.

Terrible stay! Room not clean, ball of hair in bathtub, didn’t clean my room all week, asked for more towels, they brought me two shower mats, not towels
-
The airconditioner didn’t work. And out bathroom was falling apart. To top it off, our bathrooms trash hadn’t been cleaned out from the previous people.

Very clean, nice rooms, with comfortable beds. Very professional and helpful staff. This was our second stay and we will be back!

The check in was easy and quick. Except for some reason at almost 6 pm our room still wasn’t ready, so we were given the exact same room but the handicap accessible one. Which we took and the room was small and cozy but clean and nice. The coffee make did have used grounds in it when we tried to make tea, grounds were floating in our water. The bed was quite uncomfortable to sleep in, but the pillows were very fluffy and soft. The handicap accessible shower was truly awful. The whole back of the shower was open so the shower was freezing cold if you weren’t directly under the hot water the whole time. And the bottom of the tub was so very slippery, I almost slipped and fell a few times getting in and out. The tv kept glitching and shutting off and on for some odd reason. The breakfast selections were nice, they did have a chef cooking omelets per request and they gave us two free ones, we didn’t use them though as we ate breakfast elsewhere. They had a free pool table which was fun to play. The pool was an actual pool with an actual deep end. It was heated though, which I didn’t like because it was 104 degrees outside, so I would’ve liked to cool off in a regular pool instead of a heated one. But that’s just my preference.

The location is great. The hotel had limited staff, pool was dirty, breakfast was minimal, air conditioning in room didn’t work. Adjoining door couldn’t open and faucet in tub ran constantly. Also tv didn’t work and they blamed Direct tv.

This is a super outdated hotel. Blinds are taped, all broken, non of the dresser drawers works. There's scraps on the wall, dirty carpet, piling and small holes on pillow cases... slow flow and wired sound of shower.... you name it, nothing was upkeeped for a long time. Cleaning service is another issue. We stayed in one room where there's still left over in the fridge and the fridge is filled with frost - looks like it has not been maintained and cleaned for a long time and fridge door does not close. Another room - even worse, there's a full plate food still inside the microwave and trash/cups left outside door - no one picked it up on time...... I truly regrated my choice of staying here and won't recommend anyone to stay here, this is definitely below motel standard. Oh did I tell you there's no elevator, so be prepared to carry your stuff all the way up!

This was a great older hotel for our Colorado Springs family vacation stay. Rooms were affordable and comfortable. No hallway or outside noise from the room which was amazing! Only complaint was the air conditioner was a little weak.
-
The hotel is well used. Generally clean. But, the shades in both our rooms were worn and torn. Our kids had plenty of other kids to play with at the pool. Breakfast is typical hotel food. Eggs, waffles, baggels. Charge for omelets.

The young girl (the one with colored hair and piercings) at the front desk was not friendly at all. The hallway carpets are so dirty. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We have stayed here before and chose it because of the breakfast and convenient bar and restaurant. The night we were there the restaurant was closed due to staffing. The breakfast used to be great but you now have to pay $7 for an omelette. Very limited options for the free breakfast as nothing gets restocked. We usually stay here quite often, but our next stay will definitely be somewhere else.

Not too long ago, the breakfast & restaurant menu in general was really good. It was a deciding factor when choosing between hotel options. It is no longer the case.

While some staff members were friendly and helpful, others were difficult to deal with and lacked professionalism, particularly some of the younger employees. The hotel appears quite dated, and maintenance does not seem to be keeping pace with the property's needs. Our room was not properly cleaned, some furniture was broken, and the air conditioning was not functioning correctly. Additionally, much of the parking area was poorly lit, which raised safety concerns. The breakfast was decent, but the game room and recreational areas were disappointing, as many of the advertised games were missing parts or out of order. Overall, the experience did not provide good value for the money.

Bugs crawling on carpet in hallway. Room smelled and ac kept shutting on/off all night. Arrived 4:30 & was told I was late. No restaurant- only bar. For the price you can do better.

I loved this little spot !! The location is excellent, the staff were very kind and helpful. My biggest complaint is the restaurant/bar were closed!! I stayed 2 nights and most definitlty would of had dinner and drinks if they were available. The room was nice, bed was comfy and the A/c worked excellently. The free breakfast was good. Omlette is available for 6.95 but alot to chose from also. If I return to Colorado Springs, I will return to this hotel.

Good breakfast. Lack of elevator to rooms above checkin. Clean but starting to show wear.
-
Our room still needed cleaning when we tried to check in around 4. We were asked to check

Don’t get the “Mountain View” room. We paid extra and the view was obstructed by a hotel next door. This hotel is only 4 floors, with 1 elevator so it takes a while. There curtains were also sheer so the light shines right through.

The staff at reception were so helpful! Gave us good suggestions for dinner. The room was clean, great shower and comfortable bed. Would stay there again! And breakfast was great!
