Another issue was the room service charge. Before ordering soup, I specifically asked if there would be any room service fee, and I was told there would not. However, they charged us anyway. The issue isn't the fee itself, I would have had no problem going downstairs to pick up the soup myself. The problem is that I was given incorrect information and charged after being told there would be no additional cost. Overall, the misleading information and the poor condition of the first room made our experience much less enjoyable than expected.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating, from a quick adjustment in my room to a terrific suggestion from the bartender. Excellent ambiance.

We went there for firework viewing at the roof top bar and it was at capacity. Even though we were paying to stay at the hotel we were told that kids could only be up there during fireworks. So we went up 20 mins before the fireworks and it was at capacity so we could not view from there. Then by the time we regrouped and waited for the one working elevator, Got sick of waiting on the elevator so touch the stairs and made it up to the top of the parking garage to see the last ten mins of fireworks. What a disappointment. Oh and the bed was very uncomfortable and woke up with a neck and shoulder ache. Worse night of our entire vacation. Wish we would have even stopped and just continued the last two hours to home.

My biggest complaint is that for the 2nd time, one elevator was not working. There was a wedding party staying at the hotel, and in addition to regular guests and everyone that wants to head to the rooftop bar....that is a LOT of traffic on one slow elevator. This hotel needs to get a repair company locked in and keep it maintained better.

Clean, friendly staff, comfortable room and beds. My only complaint is that one of the elevators is still not working since our last visit in early spring. I overheard other guests say it was out of order last year. This made for very long wait times to get to our room.

Loved this hotel, very cute, upscale and clean. The rooftop bar was a huge bonus and was so nice to have in the same location. Location was excellent and walking distance to everything! My only complaint was the parking garage is detached from the hotel, so a little confusing on where to park, where to go in, how to get parking credited, etc.

Hotel was close to the college.

Great hotel for location for those coming in for Mizzou students.

Loved everything about this hotel. Great location! Within walking distance of great bars, restaurants, Stephens Lake Park, and a concert hall. Very clean and comfortable. Bed was divine. AC worked great, which isn't the case with every hotel. Great water pressure in the shower. Desk clerks and valets were super friendly, helpful, and professional. The only negative I can think of was a weird, of putting smell I'm the lobby upon my arrival. This smell had disappeared by the morning and was limited to the lobby.

This hotel is right in the heart of downtown Columbia and steps away from all the restaurants and places. Only a short walk to Mizzou campus as well. Great hotel with lots to offer.
