Needs more coffee in rooms

Check in wasn’t till 3:30 instead of 3. No pool even though pictures had pool. I was told the pictures are a decade old. Asked for a room with 2 beds. Got a room with a bed and pull out couch. Pull out couch was broken. I was given one sheet and a blanket and told “I thought you were just gonna lay the sheet down” for broken pull out couch. We ended up leaving 4 hours after check in and were charged an “early check out fee.” Someone make it make sense.

I had a room on the side facing a very busy road. It was very loud, making it hard to get some sleep. The interior of the room was a little run down.

Pleasant stay. Thanks for making my first night in South Carolina great. I started school at Benedict College and my first night was relaxing while waiting for my dorm room to be ready the next day. One night- one great experience.

The area was quiet and accessible to the town.

Although my stay was adequate, this property needs a complete remodel, as it is past it's prime. The room carpet was stained and left quite a bit of dirt on my socks. The bed was somewhat comfortable, but I could see stains on the bottom of the mattress. Bathroom was clean and appeared to have been updated recently. The elevators were adequate, but questionable and seemed worn out. Breakfast offering was minimal. There was also a $10 per night parking fee, which I found annoying. I don't think I would stay here again, as there are better options available.

My concerns were w the cleaning staff, our room was NEVER cleaned, when I asked that it be cleaned, the young lady "pretended" to not speak English ( how did she interview for the job). We had to buy towels bc they were never replaced. We couldn't shower bc the water pressure was a twinkle, at all times, never a flow of water. If you need a picture, I'll send it. Please speak w the cleaning staff at your next meeting to ensure that your ratings dont suffer bc of uncleaniness especially when she understood our request but purposely chose to not do her job ( young lady w black hair in pulled back ponytail).

Location for us was very important. We were literally 9mn away from our son in Columbia SC. Our stay was exceptional staff friendly & accommodating. Property secure & well kept. I rarely take advantage of hotel breakfast but did so at Fairfield and was impressed. Great Job to everyone on this property's staff.

Rooms are new, lobby and breakfast area are large, clean and well appointed. AC was a little noisy at night in room 403, but shower and hot water are great. Well located, near restaurants, main street and close to the U of SC (not walking distance).Highly recommend this Fairfield property.

Breakfast was awesome, did not like the shower curtain it was not clean, staff were very nice and happy to see us. Loved the wood work on the wall by elevators. Ice machine was on different floor, would have been better to have it on same floor. Areas to sit were clean and the hall ways were clean. Yes I would stay there again.
