Hilton Columbia Center

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Columbia Center. Awesome location the hotel is just beautiful and clean. My fiancee and I enjoyed dining at Ruth’s Chris Steak house. The hotel staff were awesome. They made us feel comfortable from the first day we arrive which really set the tone for our stay everyone’s very helpful and friendly, especially Kat and Le these ladies really highlight I stay for the weekend very pleasant very professional very helpful. Can’t wait to stay there again.

Place is clean but the bathroom could use an upgrade. Pool seriously needs work. Staff tone a little harsh. Not sure of that was her personality. She was a bit rough.

Waited 40 minutes to get my car from the valet. There was 1 kid who was hustling but check out is at 11 am and everyone was leaving and only one valet kid on top of charging a lot of money each night

One of the nicest little pool areas downtown. Hidden gem. Great hotel.

Disappointing

Location. Remodelation is loud, dust is everywhere..The fire alarm went off , we had to take the stairs to go downstairs wher no manager approach to tell us that we can return to our rooms or that everything was okay and clear from danger. The restaurant was open with all that noise and dust, it seems all the hotel and restaurant care is about getting your money. Beds were old and uncomfortable.

The property was lovely. It was a great location too.

Hotel is very close to the convention center where I was attending a conference. It was very easy to park the car and walk everyday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Valet parking was a good choice for me - about the same cost as other high end hotels ($30/day). Ruth Chris's Steak House was attached for breakfast and dinner. Nothing - everything was good as was as expected.

Even though the property is a bit older, it is maintained pretty well. Although, no one told us it was under construction when I booked, and when I called to ask about other items. It's under pretty major construction with a good bit of noise in the lobby currently. And there were pallets and construction areas left in the parking garage too. I know they are upgrading the place, but would've been nice to know, or a discount offered. Overall, the place was nice and very convenient to the Columbia Metropolitan convention center.

My check in time at the hotel was 4:00 pm. I arrived at 3:30 pm and my room.was not ready. I had an event at 6:00 pm
