The whole experience from checking in to checking out was positive. The staff was excellent, room was clean and the bedding made for a few comfortable nights away from home.
-
Really charming hotel. Newly renovated, beds comfortable, linens plush and clean. Gym was very nice - not large but had everything you'd need. The front desk staff was terrific, check-in was easy.
-
The rooms are spacious and clean. Coffee and tea stations throughout. Great on site bar and restaurant

Love this hotel! The staff were incredible; love the mission of the hotel! Great hotel bar with good food options. Great location. Couldn’t have picked a better spot!
-
The rooms were cozy. There was free coffee, tea and water in the hall. The hotel was very efficient and the food in the restaurant was delicious - I still think about the hot chili oil avocado toast and the blood orange cocktail with tajine. Loved staying there. We thought it was worth a little splurge.

Amazing place! Staff was super nicr

Great find in the heart of Columbia!

Room was just ok for the price. Check in process was fine but could use some improvement. Car was parked using valet service but when we went to leave, we could not get our car for 45 minutes b/c there was no valet working per staff…. Come on, you gotta do better! Was looking forward to staying here b/c it was a renovated fire house but overall it fell short of expectations.

Very clean and nicely appointed.

We had a room in new building which was great; however, it has a skylight and sun was up at 6:45 AM ….. not good for sleep !!!
-
The fact the mission is to assist those with learning disabilities enhances the experience.
-
Exceptional service, very knowledgeable about the area and we’re gonna rebook for the Season

Right across the street from The Senate that I was seeing a concert at! Staff was very friendly and room was perfect!

We arrived late Thursday afternoon and were able to pull directly up to valet parking. The service was especially convenient, with a text allowing us to track our vehicle and conveniently provide a tip. Check-in was equally seamless and took only a few minutes. Our room was cozy, exceptionally clean, and comfortable. One small detail we especially appreciated was the bathroom door—a real, solid door that actually provided privacy! After several recent hotel stays with barn-style or partially transparent doors, this was a welcome change. Just outside our room was a coffee station with a distilled-water fountain for refilling the room’s water carafe, along with small bags of ice in freezer drawers. These thoughtful touches were very convenient. We also enjoyed the bar at Ladder 13. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, and breakfast offered an excellent selection with food that did not disappoint. The location was another highlight. After our niece’s Army graduation at Fort Jackson, we left our vehicle with valet parking and explored the neighborhood on foot, enjoying great coffee at a nearby boutique shop and sharing oysters at a restaurant just up the street. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

An amazing stay. The employees were very helpful and kind, the hotel was so clean and very comfortable. Well-designed with luxurious amenities. Dinner at Ladder 13, in the hotel lobby, was delicious. We’ll be back next time we’re in Columbia.
