Home2 Suites by Hilton Columbia Harbison

From our time of checkin/out, staff was very professional and friendly. For a Suite room we found ample kitchen supplies from cookware , plates , cups and utensils. When the AC turned on there was an after order smelling like diesel fuel. Also, the handle on the refrigerator was missing, making it a challenge to open.

The breakfast was quite disappointing we did not expect breakfast sandwiches in but a more plate base breakfast

The overall stay was good at this hotel.

The location was nice and secluded. Everything at the hotel seemed to be clean and new. I was located on the 3rd floor which was perfect for me. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and attentive. One of the elevators carpet was super dirty and the room next to mine had a dog that was barking way too much! Thankfully the dog was quiet during the night. I understand it's a pet friendly hotel, but another guest had her dog in the breakfast area during breakfast hours. I thought that was unsanitary and shouldn't be allowed.

The shower sliding glass door was too loud to close with others sleeping in the bedroom. The shower amenities were empty. Breakfast was lacking compared to other Home2 facilities. Other than that, the staff eere friendly and the hotel was clean.
