Lovely hotel, great breakfast!

Good location, nice room, great lobby, great decor. Breakfast was pretty good, if not particularly healthy, and was exactly the same every day. Self parking is very convenient, just a little tight.

Very nice boutique hotel especially for Columbia. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Loved that they had extra comfortable pillows on the beds. Also, I must commend them on a very good breakfast and special props to them for using local suppliers (Drake’s Duck In and Loveland coffee) for that breakfast.

Loved everything about it! The outdoor patio space (the flutter wing) was a wonderful added bonus to enjoy a peaceful night outside. Room was beautiful and cozy. 100% will be our new stay-cation spot. From the perfect room to the convenient location to walk to shopping, dinner, and drinks, it made for a great weekend.

The decorating was trendy and cool. It was great to stay in such an historic building that had been repurposed. The wooden floors were beautiful. The bed was very comfy, and the AC worked well. We were in the Flutter Wing with a big bathroom and lots of counter space. We had a skylight which gave us wonderful natural light. They offered daily maid service, and would even deliver breakfast to our room. The parking situation was complicated. We got a fob to open a gate to the parking area. On the second day, the fob stopped working, so we had to go to the front desk and get someone to let us in. There was also a pedestrian door to the parking area, but our fob didn't work for that. We should have gotten a code so we could enter easily. Then there was a very slow elevator behind more locked doors to get to our room. This made it cumbersome and slow to move our luggage. They had a nice coffee area near our room, but I would have liked a better selection of coffee, specifically some bolder blends. They also did not restock the ceramic mugs, so we had to use the disposable cups instead.

The property is elegant and the staff was nice and very helpful. My biggest issue was not enough breakfast items. That’s all. Great hotel though and an amazing staff. We will be returning in the near future.

Location is good. Breakfast was ok. For not being a frachise I feel that they do a very good job . The liquid soap and lack thereof. Get rid of the little soad tubes and get pumps in the showers. I didn't like that they didn't clean the room daily and I had to request that. At least replenish towels and soaps

Very clean and beautiful vibe, and staff was wonderful with the Lady working the front desk being extremely helpful. She even helped us get the cork out of the wine bottle that we purchased! :)

Breakfast was very good, especially the chicken biscuits. We enjoyed the free welcome drinks when we arrived along with the caramel popcorn. The bed was extremely comfortable!

The hotel was very unique! Loved it

My room was super clean and had a top of the line vibe. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Next time I'm in S.C I will definitely be booking with Hotel Trundle.

Excellent place to stay in downtown Columbia! Close to the Saturday morning street market and lots of restaurants, safe parking, lovely amenities, really polite staff. Thanks!!
