Motel 6 Columbia, SC - Fort Jackson Area

The elevator didn’t work, I had my child in a stroller as well as a rolling suitcase and two bags ….i asked if there were any first floor rooms available because of the elevator and was told that there was not. We stayed out of the room as much as possible and only slept there. The ONLY good thing was there were no roaches and lady that helped us at check in, she was so nice and helped as much as she could. The lady at check out didn’t even acknowledge me until after a few seconds of me standing there even after I said good morning. Oh there were no microwaves (except for the community one in the lobby) , fridges or trash cans in our room and apparently room service doesn’t come everyday. There is also a sign letting you know they charge for an extra roll of toilet paper.

No breakfast only coffee. Cobwebs & roaches in the room. Charged additional expense at check in (under $5). Had to change keys every night. Room was never turned down. Desk clerk was great.

On my check-in date on the 22nd, I was given a key for Dodge. Flore and the elevator is broken. There was a long walk and I have asthma. The hallway was hot. I’m very humid. The room smell of cigarette we microwave no fridge no ironing board no iron. I went downstairs to pick up ironing board iron from the front desk. I have to leave that hotel that night and spend the night there due to the pressure of the watch stays walking upstairs and smell a check out that every day and they told me I will charge you for that day when you stay or not Fine came back in the morning and finally checked out like physically checked out very bad experience, buddy.

The elevator was out of service. There was no shampoo at all. There were drug addicts coming in and out of the stairwell that we had to use due to the broken elevator.

You get what you pay for

Your property charges a franchise fee but have signage on the stating that lock your vehicle and your not responsible for break in or damage to your vehicle, if you're charging fees, I think security should be provided at night for the parking, the lighting in certain areas around the property is extremely dark and dangerous.

Not clean. Smelled bad. Bugs. Booked paid for a king they didn’t have king beds

The elevator didn't work not a big deal. The room I was first given wasn't even cleaned. Door was open TV on pile of towels in the bathroom. At first they were just going to give me full refund but luckily they found another room available. Otherwise I would of had to find somewhere else to stay and probably pay more. Also one morning there was a someone/homeless person sleeping on the floor in the lobby by the vending machines

It was dirty cockroach in room. Homeless people sleeping in lobby. When staff was ask for clean towels their refused to give any out. Elevator was posted and was told that it was out of service stuff was using it.

Dirty floors, broken lamps, and stained/dirty showers. The motel is infested with roaches crawling on the walls and beds. Also, there’s no working elevator so you have to use the stairs.

Bugs, non working tv, hair and debris left behind. Pool not working.

Mal olor en la habitación no limpiaron pague por 2 habitaciones y una no tenía microondas ni nevera y el baño deteriorado y el personal terrible salí a la graduación de mi hija y cuando regresamos en la noche le pregunté si habían limpiado la habitación me dijeron q si cuándo fui al cuarto no habían entrado no habían sacado la basura y tampoco tenía toallas y el elevador está dañado y tiene chinches la cama pq tuvimos mucho picor

If budget is your ONLY priority, still look somewhere else first, then make this your last resort

It was terrible no microwave in room / evelators didn't work rm small / old mattress whole experience was terrible will never stay there again

The hotel was nothing like I expected the staff was great I loved her professionalism and friendly personality. The hotel itself had roaches, and I had to wait til 4pm my second day there to get clean towels. The staff is great but the hotel itself I won’t stay at anymore.

Gary was kind and got up to check us in, we arrived at nearly 2 AM. The room wasn’t very clean, it smelled of pet urine especially after showering, there were cockroaches, the bedding smelled like cigarettes and lice shampoo. It bad smelled throughout the building. If you have another option, I suggest taking it. We only stayed due to our late arrival and that it was too late to cancel and find another room.

Not Recommended.. I walked into the room and out 10 seconds later. There were roaches crawling on the deck in the room and the walls in the hallways.
