Motel 6 Columbia, SC - Fort Jackson Area

Everything was awesome, the employees were awesome. The only thing that upseted me was the water leaking all over the floo both nights. The first night I woke up wetting my feet

Things fixed just looks bad to have a pool and be closed??

Room smell like cigarettes smoke and no refrigerator no microwave

No tell Six 130 a lot and I was there for nine days and they never came in and cleaned my room even though I asked him when I never did and it was dirty

Water was coming up through floorboards so they switched us to a new room. 2nd room had 1/2 inch of standing water on the floor, third room (last available) smelled like mold no amenities. We decided to leave, have yet to get a refund

The room was dirty, my mom had to clean it herself, my duvet cover had hair on it, the shower was disgusting and they only gave us 2 towels for our tuesday-friday stay as they only give towels out on those 2 days. The pool was down as well. We were there for the basic graduation and avoided being in the room at all costs unless to sleep.

Checking in was great. She was very friendly. I had 2 rooms as well were there for my daughter's basic training graduation. Elevator was down both days. Not a big deal for me because I worked at hotels, I know know it's not in their control. But when I went to our room the hallway stinks, like bad and I can't pinpoint thw smell. My mom's door (136) door was dead. So they moved her upstairs. My room (131) towel rack was broken, room was dusty and my second night the people next door baby cried for 3 hours. I called the front desk to make a noise complaint but no one answered (at 10:00 pm). My mom's room was dirty and the fridge didn't work. And one again that floor smelled weird as well.

Water damage in room near the A/C vent. The pool had a sign on it from the state health board saying u could not use the pool. Walls are paper thin. Stains on walls. Bed was soft and comfy. It's a motel 6 so don't expect much

Staff was nice, my first room was dirty. They gave me a new room and upgraded it.

Upon entering the hotel to check in, the staff was very unfriendly and made it a point to let you know, “If you come to ask for more toilet paper and it’s not the designated day on this sign right here, we will charge you $1 +taxes on it and don’t ask for clean towels unless it’s those days either. There’s no microwaves in the rooms either so don’t ask”. They had a microwave…a “community shared” microwave on a stand in the middle of the lobby. I had to clean the toilet and shower before I could even use them and the floors were so dirty that I had to get back in the shower and wash my feet again and put sandals on to avoid my feet getting black again. The coldest temperature the thermostat allowed never even reached that. When trying to check out the following morning, my boyfriend and I ended up checking out a few minutes late due to a female front desk worker cussing out and threatening to fight a guest who was arguing back with her about her dogs. The cops were called out causing a bigger disturbance when the women saw them come inside and because of us turning in the keys late waiting to get to the desk, the manager/front desk worker wanted to say we would be charged a late fee..that’s ridiculous. He eventually changed his mind after understanding the late checkout wasn’t our fault as us, and others, had been waiting in the lobby to turn our keys in. This hotel needs a new staff lineup and better management/upgrades.

They need to have the place treated for pests, because the room I was staying in had bedbugs, and my whole body was covered in bite marks.

I enjoy my stay staff were great, room was nice and clean, and everything was comfortable.

Ac barely worked in room but heard multiple people say theirs would turn on, pool not open, elevator broken. Get to too. Finally after long long wait and key wouldn't work had to use stairs and go all the way to get new key card. No blankets on bed ac tookal night to go down 3 degrees, horrible
