Motel 6 Columbus, GA – Columbus Airport

I wasn’t expecting it to be so quiet but it was.

Nothing Room was dirty had mold on the barhroom wall and shower curtain. People out in the parking lot all night long being loud arguing and fighting.

Location The bathtub was NASTY, it didn’t drain .. the shower curtain was stain & NASTY. our mini fridge is on the floor. With no other appliances.

Even after I showed proof from my bank statement verifying payment for both the room and the $50 deposit, management refused to return my $50 deposit upon checkout. No valid reason, itemized receipt, or damage claim was provided, and there was zero attempt to apologize or resolve the issue on-site. I don't recommend this motel because management handles billing issues unprofessionally.

Rooms were clean, good room for the price.would stay here again

I wasn’t told about breakfast. I wasn’t happy with activities going on late a night,people partying and knocking on my door late in the night.

The lady in the front office was so sweet and helpful! She worked the day we checked in and out and was sweet to other guests as well. The room was clean and couldn’t complain for the price! The hotel is located next to the highway which we didn’t mind as it was white noise to me, but that could bother some. Great value.

Check in was good. The clerk allowed me to check in early, for a $10 fee, which helped because I had to check out earlier than expected at my last hotel due to some championship games going on and then being overbooked. However, none of the lights or plugs around the bed worked so I had to plug up my phone and watch close to the TV, instead of on the nightstand, which was a bit inconvenient. And because the lights didn’t work , it made the room more dark than I’d liked. I had to use the lights by the bathroom or door for extra light. And there wasn’t a microwave in the room and the pictures online looked nothing like the actual room. However, the room was clean and I could smell it when I walked in the room. The lobby smells very clean and fresh and the clerk was very helpful. Only real complaint is it’s taking a minute for my deposit to go back to my card. Hopefully it will return before the end of the week, since yesterday was a holiday.
