The rooms are in need of refurbishing. Other than that the place was great.

Provided a place for my family to stay they are remodeling most of the stay was great. Some are untrustworthy. Was gone for work didn't get to try the breakfast.

The only positive thing to say about our stay was that the staff was very polite and they obviously were not responsible for all of our issues with our stay. They tried to address all of the things that we had issues with, and it was very clear to us the issues had everything to do with management and ownership. As soon as we pulled in we were shocked at the condition of the grounds and exterior of the hotel. It looked extremely rundown and bare minimum of upkeep was being done. The out door pool, which was one of our first reasons for booking the hotel was closed for repairs and would not be available to use at all during our stay. We were given the option to use the indoor pool next door, but it was inconvenient and we chose not to use it. We had to move to another suite due to only 1 of the three TV'S working. The second suite had all working TV'S but the internet connection was so horrible that it made it impossible to stay connected for more than 20 minutes before it would have to reboot and start the connection process all over again. The last issue we had was the cleanliness and condition of our suite. Only two outlets in the suite were suitable for charging electronics. Our sofa looked like a cat spent the day clawing it up. There were human hair clumps in several areas in the suite. The kitchenette floor had visible pieces of food stuck to it and the bedroom walls had some serious grime on them. The media center had several pieces missing or hanging off of it.

Clean and safe with a 20 min walk to Disney. The food in the cafe along with the $35/day parking fee was why I gave it a four star rather than 5 star review.

Not Applicable first impression is a lasting impression terrible experience we didn't get to spent the night there. The attendant didn't helped us at all, we needed assistance with rearranging our stay I mistakenly booked our stay for July 26 instead of July 25th. She kept saying the video camaras are on, (I said good I am glad the video camaras are rolling) she said they're looking at how I am doing my job, and besides I just got here (she said), I told her I am the reason you have a job, I am the reason Townplace is opened, I need help here and now. She kept saying and the other woman that was there before she got there; We're really sorry you booked through a third party, we can't help you. You're on your own basically... They didn't provided me with any 800's number to contact Booking.com to cancel and book for the correct date July 25th, and the other issues, was their pool was not working they told us we can go to the next door neighbors Hotel partner and sister company to use their pool, because they belong to the same corporation of hotels. I now understand why the parking lots are empty, there was hardly anybody there for a weekend there's no wounder why. With this kind of terrible customer service and the property not properly maintained, The reason I booked is because when I looked at the picture advertisement Townplace had the better looked at the pool and it look perfect; but I was wrong to think it that way, Because that was not real the pool was not working, they blamed the City of Columbus for not coming to fix the pool. any how we ended up having to booked for the 25th of July and left on the 26th of July. We gave them every opportunity to make it better but some how it got progressively worse, it was getting late and we went there not only to spent the night but to swim and to have a good time, but they ruined our special day. This was the first and the last time I will book there. I wouldn't stay even for free.

Upon arrival and check in we were immediately disappointed that the pool was broken and had been broken for days prior and we were not contacted. Was told hopefully would be working the next day. Then we get out room it is way smaller then the pictures that showed the sofa away from the bed. But we unpack and try to settle in. Then as I am putting things away in the bathroom I find a used enema bottle that I left cause I wasn't touching it. Now its bath time the water is so hot I had to get water from the sink to bath them. Now its bed time we pull the sofa out once we do that we realize you can't walk around the bed its so tight. Its now morning we go to breakfast the manager comes up says she saw my review and as far as the pool its still broken but we can use the pool at the hotel next door. Ok great. As far as breakfast it was ok. Went at 915 to grab something for myself and the lady has already put it up. That was odd as I was told breakfast was till 930. So now its pool time. We get there its inside which was very disappointing. We let the kids play after 15 minutes the smell of chlorine was so strong we thought we would throw up. I told one of the men working about the water they said they would look into it. We head out for the rest of the day. Come back time for showers water is so hot the adults could barely shower. The water was never fixed pool never worked. I booked knowing Marriott was on the nicer end but honestly felt like I was at motel 6

needs some touch up painting in the lobby.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The fitness room is two treadmills and some dumbbells. The room setup was decent and the bed was comfortably soft. All of the experience was ruined with the roaches. I had to buy a can of RAID to combat that inconvenience during a holiday weekend where the hotel was fully booked.

Upon arrival we were asked if we would like refresh/house keeping during our stay of 5 days, we said yes. Not once did we get any service. On day 3, I asked the desk to make sure we were indeed on the list for services, asked for fresh towels and what to do with our garbage, seeing we had a kitchen/suite with food rubbish and no garbage bags were in any of our receptacles to start. Day 4, again no services and we were now out of toilet paper. To the front desk again we went. The floors were tacky and the carpets left our socks dirty. They offer free coffee in the lobby, but if it is after breakfast hours, they did not have half and half or plain creamer (I asked the front desk) which meant they had no sugar free options. There is a side entrance, which states that your room key should open it, but it never worked for us.
