Red Roof Inn Columbus, MS

It was late when we arrived and check in went ok but our room was not clean. There was something all over the floor in the dressing area that looked like someone had shook a bottle and opened it and let it spray everywhere so we had to wear shoes to walk around. Then, the next morning, we went to get our continental breakfast and everything had an out of order sign on it and I asked the attendant if they at least had coffee and he curtly said NO. We were running short on cash so the breakfast was the main reason we chose that hotel.

I like the affordable rooms and the location to anything you might want and the rooms are clean and it's not a bunch of hooligans running around

It was surprisingly clean! Beds weren’t very comfortable.

For people that want an affordable stay where you can pull up to your room, this is the place. The bed was clean and comfortable, they provide a good source of cable tv, with microwave and refrigerator. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the bathroom, particularly the bathtub, they have to do better with the communication to the housekeepers. Okay so one more piece of advice, run a mop over the linoleum floor, which is a good upgrade considering it’s a pull up to establishment.

The sheets on the bed had alot of yellow stains on them and hair, the tv had 2 lines going down it horizontal i called to complain was told wait til the morning, so u checked out and went else where... customer service at its worst, please dont charge for something you would not sleep in

Our room was infested with lady beetles and reeked of marijuana. We changed rooms, but it wasn’t a great experience.

The location When I first arrived, I had to ask them to change the sheets. The staff has an attitude problem. And even with the do not disturb sign clearly magnetized to your door you do not get any privacy. They come in your room anyway as soon as you leave the room, I felt that they were watching me. and no, they didn’t come in and clean up make a bed or anything like that. They just came in to be nosy.

The fast check in Construction going on the road and the parking lot had alot of holes

Nothing!! Nasty! Pure Nastiness!!!! I hated everything!!! My sheets and stained bodily fluids on them, shower head moldy. It was just a dirty feeling overall in the rooms. They tried but there no substitute to cleaniness and a good relaxing environment.

The parking lot was flooded on back side front side was torn apart and dug up.

Price, closeness to the event I’m a non smoker so i could smell cigarette smoke
