Exterior would lead one to believe the building was closed. Façade was falling off and landscape needed a lot of help. Interior was another story. Very friendly staff and clean common areas. Room was neglected in maintenance and could tell contractors took shortcuts when building.

We have stayed at La Quinta properties in the past and this was the most disappointing experience we have had with this chain. Upon arrival, the exterior of the building was missing large sections of fascia/paneling and the walls showed significant water staining. Our Check-in was handled by Patsy, she is the singular bright spot with our stay. We had booked 1 king suite and a standard king. The king suite reminded me of my college days, mismatched furniture, a couch with "dented" cushions and stains, a wood veneer floored area that may have been intended for a table but was empty, animal hair stuck to the base of the bed and no handsoap in the bathroom. Thankfully Patsy found us a standard king to move to and although it was a bit better, I still had to go to the desk to get handsoap in any of the 3 rooms we had occupied. In the new standard king bathroom, a large vent which apparently led directly outdoors allowed so much heat and moisture into the room that the mirror was constantly fogged due to the clash between the room AC if the door was opened. Thankfully we were able to find accommodations nearby and moved the next morning. The lobby and breakfast area was clean and adequately cooled by the AC, but once you entered the hallways the humidity was heavy and the carpeting was soiled and damp. I rarely complain about hotels, but this experience demanded that something be said.

Being close to the base was the main reason for staying. And chick fila is close.

When we checked out and got 50 miles away, wife couldn't find her purse. Called the hotel and they searched the room and found it in the drawer and called me back. We were back and got it 👍. Really appreciate it and the kindness shown 🙏.

The rooms were dirty overall. The floor was not vacuumed before arrival, there was significant black mold in the bathroom because it doesn't have an exhaust fan, and you have to specifically ask for room service each day. Breakfast was okay. Staff were friendly at least.

Im not a smoker, so. I disliked that smell and the fact that the hall ways were hot when you step off the elevators.

Customer service was wonderful popcorn and cookies the breakfast area rooms nice and clean really enjoyed

The room smelled of smoke. There is NO ventilation in the bathroom soo the ceiling had moisture damage. Consequently, the floor leading to the bathroom was very slick which could cause a fall. The breakfast was free for a reason because it was awful. The lobby/dining area was nice but the rooms are in desperate need of updating. Finally, there was a lot of loitering in the parking lot. I didn’t know if they were guest or should I be worried about my car being stolen over night?? The LaQuinta is NOT a hotel I would stay at again in a million years.

There was a lot of black mold in our room 109 so they moved us to room 330 which it was mold in that room also

Most helpful and friendly staff

Loved the cleanliness of the room. The hotel itself was clean. It was a bit warm in certain areas. My only dislikes would be the cable TV was not working and only had 4 channels available.

Very nice and we stay here everytime we come to work at Columbus AFB

Rooms could have been better…the ceiling in the bathroom looked like it had water damage. the breakfast was hot and good. However the lady preparing breakfast was very rude. Breakfast ended at 10am but she was fussing and complaining about us coming down 20 minutes before breakfast ended. We didn’t have any requests, we simply helped ourselves to what was left over due to timing. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. She made the stay very welcoming. I would stay again but would skip breakfast if that same lady is still there.
