    Overall, we had a good stay. Check-in was quick and easy, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. We didn't purchase breakfast since it was an additional cost, but everything else met our expectations. The boys really enjoyed the pool. I planned to use the hot tub, but by the evening it was no longer hot, so I didn't end up using it. The beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioner worked exceptionally well. We kept it at 69°, and the room stayed nice and cold. We experienced a few minor maintenance issues. The microwave door worked the first time, but afterward the latch would stick and required pressing the button while gently pulling the door open. Our room key also stopped working once, likely because it had been placed near a cell phone, but the front desk reactivated it quickly without any issues. After the boys connected their PS5 to the TV, the volume controls stopped working, leaving the TV stuck at a very loud volume while they played. My only real concern was a purchase from the hotel market. We were quoted one price, and my receipt reflected that amount, but my card was charged more than what was shown. I recommend double-checking market purchases to ensure the amount charged matches the receipt. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The friendly staff and comfortable room made for a pleasant experience.

    The room was relatively clean except for a half full water bottle sitting on the window ledge. There was a very noticeable spot on the bedskirt.. looked like something spilled. The check-in staff was efficient but not overly friendly such a change from Starkville…everyone is so friendly. The check-out employee was wonderful. Overall a good place to stay. I prefer staying in Starkville over Columbus.

    Awesome staff, Cleanliness is a plus for me and it was fulfilled. This is actually our 2nd time staying here, and both never disappointed. Definitely will be our "Go To" Hotel everytime we touch down in Columbus.

    Beautiful outside and inside. Staff was polite and welcoming, felt like home away from home. A 10/10 recommend. We had a king suite. Was spacious and bathroom was beautiful. Just the furniture in room was tore also needed shampooing.

    The bathroom was nasty. I originally booked a king standard room. When I got to the hotel at checkin time around 3:30 pm they put me in a hearing disability room. When I asked why they said they were booked and didn't have any more king standard rooms as I watched the check other people into king rooms. They did not try to fix the problem at all.

    When someone books a room and pays for it, we expect a room to be available. Upon arrival we were told no room was available they had over booked. Still waiting on a refund a week later.

    No housekeeping service and if you need towels you need to bring your dirty towels to the front desk and they’ll count them and give you replacements, like they’re expensive heirlooms. Also, don’t bother trying to get maintenance, they’ll tell you they’ve contacted them but they don’t. This we were told specifically by an employee after we reported an issue.

    The desk clerks were nice at checking in and checkout. The pool area was clean. The housekeepers were friendly and spoke as you passed by. It could use some refresh on the hot tub area a few bricks need replacing. Another issue was that the hostess for the bistro wasn’t able to honor our free breakfast that was in the included booking price due to communication errors between third party booking and the Marriott system , but I’ve never had issues with other resort stays with that. There was another guest as well trying to figure that out too so that could be improved upon if the Marriott system is allowing bookings thru a third party they should see what room rate offered is including and honor that .

    The lobby is the best thing to look at. Room didn’t get cleaned. Was there for 3 nights. No continental breakfast. You had to pay for everything. Over priced. Columbus Courtyard needs a lot of remodeling. Pool wasn’t open!

    I enjoyed my stay however I think the property needs to take a look at the mold in the shower. We were able to wipe it off of the ceiling in the shower however the bottom of the shower door was very disgusting. The staff can only do so much. Management needs to do a cleaning of this area. This is something I can’t expect the housekeeper to handle. Overall the hospitality made the issue not so huge! However Fix It!!!!
