Red Roof Inn Columbus West - Hilliard

Our room appeared to be clean but reeked of old cigarette smoke. It was a no smoking room and posted as such on the door. Bathtub had multiple cigarette burn marks. Would not stay again due to the overwhelming smell.

Red Roof Inn has always been great to stay at. Very clean and well kept.

Slippery floor

The non-smoking room smelled of smoke. Clerk behind plexiglass added to the general feeling that it was not the safest place to stay.

Motel with no elevators with a budget friendly approach on everything.

Although we booked a room with two beds they did not have one when we checked in.

Over all, we had a really good stay. Our room was clean and equipped with hair dryer, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker and coffee. The bed and linens were clean, toilet and shower was clean, sink area was clean. The only thing that I disliked was the floors seemed to get damp with the AC on but that wasn’t a deal breaker for me. If we do return to the area for travel, I would consider greatly staying here again.

The floor was extraordinarily dirty as well as the bathroom. Housekeeping left behind dirty washcloths. It looks updated in the pictures, but definitely not what they show.

Bugs blood on the floor

Room was very clean and smelled clean my whole visit.

The hotel itself was pretty clean, and the staff was extremely friendly, but the area was not the greatest a lot of questionable people hanging around the property

I checked in and never went back. Location was not the hotel I thought I booked. Very sketchy area. Bed was hard when I sat on it. Don’t feel comfortable enough to say the night there. Did not complain jus did not rerun

Firm, bagged mattresses were comfy & safe to sleep on. No signs of bed bugs on the outside. The a/c was cold, and the shower was hot with good pressure. No noise from neighbors and lots of parking were appreciated, and location is very convenient. Floors were so dirty my feet were black, comforter was dirty, and the room smelled of smoke. The room was not cleaned properly and the interior is very poorly maintained. Also, lots of flies in the room when we arrived.

First the website never said anything about having to be 21+ so that was a problem bc I showed up and they weren’t trying to help after i’m literally hours from home. i figured things out and the smell once i walked in was already suspicious so we looked everywhere and then checked the sheets and found bed bugs. so i asked for a refund and didn’t get it until 3 days later and i was 285$ outta luck hours away from my home. would not recommend!

Cheap rate for our trip. Room was ok.

Issue was that the room smelled terrible to the point that we had to go to Walmart to purchase air fresher and spray morning and night. I believe that the smell may have been coming from the wall A/C unit. Perhaps stagnant water. Room smelled like bad perspiration. As noted, the room was clean, sheets and bathroom were clean. Only complaint was the smell.

Check out was at 11:00, house keeping knocked on the door at 9:30...
