Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Columbus - Worthington

After a bad experience last trip I tried again and was much happier this time around. Will definitely come back again.

The rooms are very clean and modern. The staff is very nice. It's a great place to stay and prices are very good.

The desk clerk was very helpful. She went out of her way to help us remake one of our beds after we discovered it had damp sheets on it. The entire room was extremely damp. We ran the “dry” mode on the air conditioner the entire time we were there but the there was still a damp sheen on everything. The plus side of that is it did not smell musty or moldy in our room.

Room smelled like cigarette smoke even when the room was supposed to be for non-smokers. The bathtub is clearly broken but sloppily slapped with some kind of tape. I almost lost balance in the shower because of it. The staff was very kind and helpful though. Plenty of parking spots as well.

The vibe was very much out of a movie of a dirty motel you go to get a prostitute. Bathroom floor was dirty and there was splatter of unknown substance found in wall by UV light. I felt unsafe walking about the property it was just a bad vibe all around

A little tired and needed a little maintenance but it was okay

Smoke free room but smell like smoke, the bed sheet is not clean and made skin itchy, very loud.

Comfortable, basic place to stay. Though we stayed for 6 nights, though, they only cleaned our room once, & we had to ask for toilet paper a couple of times. Also, though there were three people in our party, they only provided 2 washcloths.

Staff was great. Kind and welcoming Location wasn't great for us. Everything was 20 minutes or more away. The pictures on booking.com for this hotel were very deceiving. They did a great job of masking the out dated hotel.

was access to the property which was by a different road other than the address given. Would stay again, no problem.

Earlier in the evening, a male employee interacted with me in a way that felt flirtatious and made me uncomfortable. Later, as I came off the escalator, he suddenly approached me and startled me badly. He then told me that I was on the wrong floor and stated that he had been watching me on the hotel cameras. Given our earlier interaction, hearing that he had been watching me on the cameras made me feel extremely uneasy and frightened. I returned to my room feeling unsafe and was unable to sleep because I was worried about whether I was being watched or monitored. I understand that hotel security cameras are used for guest safety, but the way this interaction occurred and the way the employee communicated that he had been watching me made me feel anything but safe. I would appreciate management reviewing this incident, including any available surveillance footage, and explaining how hotel employees are permitted to monitor and approach guests. I would also like confirmation that this concern has been taken seriously and addressed appropriately. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Nothing The smell was horrible Staff was extremely rude and lazy Room walls looked atrocious, missing paint spots everywhere Whole place looked like a motel and I want a refund

Little dusty. Overall it was good. Seemed clean but not sparkling. I’d go back.
