Best Western Plus Commerce Hotel

The food was good the staff was helpful .

This hotel is our go to, we stay there at least 2 a year. The property is always clean and it smells amazing. Staff is always helpful and welcoming and their breakfast buffet is delicious and well maintained. I travel with the whole family including 2 children and I would absolutely recommend to other families

Unfortunately, our air conditioning unit was loud and had a smell similar to gasoline causing the room to smell musty. Also, they had an ant problem in the parking area. One day, we had a lot of ants in our car after being parked overnight. The lady at the front desk didn’t seem to care when I reported it.

The staff was helpful and polite. The common areas were well maintained. It included a full breakfast which was much appreciated. The room had a musty smell though. This was the drawback.

The bed sheets smelled like body odor and the coffee machine had dust on it.

The air coming out of the AC unit smells pungent and the AC is very loud. Imagine sitting in a hotel room with that in a heatwave. The ventilation in the hotel room is poor. It always smells humid unless you have the AC on all the time but then you smell the stinky smell from the AC. They do change the sheets and towels but we found mold on one of the pillows. The staff does clean the toilet, tub and etc... but the the less obvious things are not very clean. For example the carpet is dirty, there's grime on the light switches, and lots of dust on the table lamp on the bedside table. The staff is very friendly but I would not recommend this hotel for the above reasons.

The stay was fine for me and my family but I noticed the staff wasn’t as welcoming to us as to other guests. The surrounding area is very shady and ghetto looking. The hotel itself was in decent condition and my room was pretty clean and bed comfortable. The breakfast was sufficient. I had a pool view and I could see they would rinse the deck everyday and clean pool every other day.

Very clean room and breakfast included was a nice addition. The only thing that was that there was no ventilation in the bathroom. There was no fan. Other than that, everything else was great.
