This was my second time at this property and is a perfect location for visiting CCU.
-
A dated hotel in need of major upgrades and improvements.
-
Quiet and convenient to area needed. No housekeeping in four days; had to go to desk to get clean towels.
-
Likes location to Coastal Carolina University
-
Breakfast was in need of diversity as the same items were put out on the counter every day. Same eggs/sausage/gravy. Toilet paper was very flimsy and better quality of tissue needed.
-
Older hotel . Large room. Vinyl plank flooring wasn't the best choice. Hides dirt.

The common areas and the 3 rooms I had to be changed to were all very clean. The cleaning staff was friendly, always had a smile and did a great job. The description says across from a university, there wasn't one, Two streets had busy roadways, one had a fast food drive through and one had some trees. Not as big as it looks in the picture, but an okay place to stay for a few days. Front desk staff seemed bored and disinterested whenever I spoke to them, as if I was disturbing them. This happened when I needed help with a room change, which I had to request two times before they got it right because person didn't know which rooms had walk in shower or not. Often desk had no one there because they were outside smoking. No security, front desk didn't stop anyone either, you can walk in building and walk by front desk to the room; at least you needed a room key to get to pool but pool is near parking area and visible. Pool was very clean.

The property itself was very clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay again.

Loved the pillows!!!! And how many were in the bed. Made for a comfy sleeping experience The lack of choices of coffee creamer. Most hotels provide French Vanilla or Hazel Nut.
-
Driveway was well hidden. Staff was nice and helpful. Room was nice and big.
-
Close to CCU.. older hotel but rooms clean, friendly staff..
-
Had a hard time finding the driveway because of tall weeds.
