Econo Lodge at the University

When we got there at 11:30 pm they gave a me a key to my room and when I opened the door and turned on the light s woman screamed and her husband jumped up out of bed. I apologized and then went back to the front desk to get another room and they said they only had a king room as they had issues with plumbing so all out of rooms. They had to end up giving me another room on a different section of the hotel. The comforter was gross and the floor on the bathroom felt like if we stepped on it we would fall through the ceiling.

Refuses to stay in this place. Everything was nasty and dirty in the room.

Nope. Old, musty, popcorn walls & ceilings. Floors felt gross. Nothing like the pics.

The room was clean, we'll maintained. My shower was missing the conditioner bottle which I didn't know until I was in the shower so that was frustrating. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. It was pretty bare bones and no hot water for tea just coffee. I ended up going down the road to a little breakfast place.

Our first night, we had to switch rooms because the toilet flooded the entire floor. The second room we had the headboard detached from the wall and almost hurt my son. NOTHING was done about it. I called the manager and still nothing has been resolved.

Clean and comfortable. I stay here yearly.

The surroundings was not very professional. Tenants hanging out in the parking lots drinking alcohol and being very loud

The complimentary breakfast was average. There were enough options to get by, but the quality and variety weren't particularly impressive.

Stayed one night with my 3 kids it was clean the whole hallway smelled like weed which was disappointing considering I was staying there my 11 and 4 yr old. Other than that the room was clean just little cosmetic things like paint chipping and stuff like that.

Employees were great. Room was dated, needs updating. Mirror was taken off the bathroom door and metal was left on( not good) remote had no back to cover batteries, room was dirty in spots and the microwave and coffee pot were not used not really clean,towels were kind of stiff, had a vent in the bathroom but no fan. For the price it was a good stay though

Need to replace bathroom door and sink/tub drainage. Mold in bathroom ceiling.

This place is run down and not taking care of. Staff is amazing a was very helpful

Be weary of checking in after hrs. The front desk agent was not helpful and refused check in until seeing a payment email from online booking app. The problem is it goes to manager email who might be gone at night. Took about 30 min to clear up. Expedia agents did help resolve the issue.

The road in front of the hotel is under construction, so there was some backup and travel delay.

About what you would expect for the price. Bathroom had mold on the ceiling. Breakfast was really underwhelming.

Had to travel to Conway to drop my son off at his coastal Carolina University orientation. Stayed for tonight's. The hotel is the into two building, the first building probably has seen a better days where you check in, but we were in the econo Lodge building behind it. You walk in it smelled very clean, very well maintained, and very safe. The pool was definitely a plus for my kids. At centrally located right next to the college while being close enough to go to Myrtle Beach 10 minutes down the road. You can't beat the vicinity. Plenty to do around. Will definitely stay again.
