Good Stay no complaints

Very clean hotel and very comfortable beds. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Coastal Carolina University.

Very clean property with nice breakfast options. Staff was most accommodating and friendly. Convenient access to Coastal Carolina. Road construction requires a bit more time for travel and access to the hotel. (Not the fault of the property) But just allow for extra travel time. Outdoor pool a bonus. Plenty of free parking and the property is well lit. Many dining options available nearby too.

Clean, convenient, and loved the breakfast!

Bathroom was large and the shower oh my! Bed was comfortable. I plan to come back again to visit my granddaughter at CCU, and this is the place I want to stay.

The hotel was beautiful. The lobby and rooms were well maintained. The staff is friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was better than expected. The beds were so comfortable. We will definitely stay at Fairfield by Marriott again in the future.

Breakfast was excellent great choice and a good variety. Staff was great and parking was adequate.

Clean room, easy check in & out, decent breakfast, and literally right across the street from CCU.

The hotel was super clean. The only 2 cons was when showering the water leaks out , which isn’t too bad but I can see water damage in the further because it was a lot, had to use one of the big towels we use to dry off because the little floor towel weren’t soaking the water enough. 2nd con is the carpets, while they were clean, why are we building new hotels with carpet, it’s 2026 not 1986, personally I feel like carpet ages the hotel and the obvious dirtiness that carpets can hold. Overall great staff, clean, well kept hotel. Marriott please stop making hotels with carpet, especially when a lot of hotels are remodeled and removing carpet.

Breakfast could be a lot better

The staff at The Conway Fairfield Inn was beyond friendly and helpful. The ladies at the front desk were amazing. It was refreshing to have any and all questions answered with a genuine smile and warmth. Our room and the property were immaculate, the breakfast was great and the pool was nice to use after a long hot day on campus at CCU. We will absolutely stay here again! : )

They didn't clean rooms while we were there for 3 nights, but great at bringing fresh towels when we needed them. Great staff and good breakfasts.

We had an incredible experience here last year, so we confidently booked a repeat stay. That turned out to be a very bad decision. The quality has plummeted, and we will not be returning next year.Room & Property ConditionBad Odors: Both our guest room and the hallway carpets had a highly unpleasant, stale smell.Outdated Decor: The entire property feels neglected and heavily outdated compared to our previous visit.Worn Linens: The bed sheets and comforter felt thin, scratchy, and completely worn out.Breakfast QualityMushy Oatmeal: The oatmeal was severely overcooked, gummy, and unappetizing.One Bright Spot: The waffles were the only good part of the breakfast buffet.Poor Housekeeping & ServiceIgnored Request: We rarely ask for service, but on one day, I intentionally removed our "Do Not Disturb" sign well before 12:00 PM.Unattended Room: We returned 12 hours later to find the room completely untouched—beds unmade, trash overflowing, and dirty towels on the floor.DIY Cleanup: I had to bag our own dirty towels, empty our own trash, and physically haul it all down to the lobby myself.Front Desk: The gentleman working the front desk was very nice, apologized sincerely, and handed me clean towels.
