Best Western Thunderbird Motel

There was a noticable strong odor in the room that fabreze had trouble eliminating. Even on our last morning there. After 4 nights my oxygen concentrator filter was coated with dirt. There was noticable dirt behind the filter and outside the filter door. My bipap filter was also coated with dust.

The room smelled to start with. Stains on the chair were evident. There was a hole in the bedspread. No fan in the bathroom. Walls in the bathroom were patched and painted. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok. All in all, the hotel was tired.

The check in process was fine, however the first thing I saw upon opening the door to my room was a cockroach. Then another and before getting to the bathroom I saw three more. Expedia made the refund process a nightmare - lied and said the property denied me a refund even though Expedia never even called them. Eventually they did give me a refund however they did not put me into another hotel. In fact, there was no offer to or attempt to put me in a safe location leaving my service dog and I to sleep in an unsafe parking lot overnights. Do not recommend Expedia or this hotel.

Our room smelled like stale smoke when we arrived. It wasn't terrible but something to note. The room felt clean, I like that there is not carpet in the room. Our biggest issue was the air conditioner. It was very loud and struggled to keep up. It was unseasonably hot out so I think that was part of the issue, but it was difficult to sleep at night with the noise and the heat. The motel was full so we would not have been able to move rooms. The woman that was working the front desk was lovely and welcoming. The pool area was nice and it was open late, which my kids appreciated. There was a nice large parking lot so parking is not an issue.

Just like last time I stayed there got the same room and it was just as clean as it was last time and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Classic motel. Great stopover location and folks working there couldn't be nicer.

Room was clean. Nice big clean pool. Breakfast was typical free hotel breakfast. Mexican restaurant connected to hotel was very convenient.

Adequate parking, room was neat and clean. There was rust in the shower and the faucet was loose in the wall.

We stay at the Thunderbird Best Western every time that we travet to Cookville, TN to visit our daughter and grandchildren.

Good price for room. Breakfast included. We've stayed here several times as we travel, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Good location just off the highway and a little outside of Nashville.

This is an old school MCM motel, which has rooms that open on to the parking lot. The rooms are a bit noisier due to that, but overall they are nicely decorated and very clean. Parking is literally right outside the door! Mexican restaurant on site was great.

Our 2 rooms were ground floor, next to each other and close to the lobby. Rooms were updated recently and, like most Best Westerns, had ref, micro, coffee. AC units were quiet and efficient. Bed was completely comfortable Didn’t see much of the property.
