Best Western Thunderbird Motel

This is an old school MCM motel, which has rooms that open on to the parking lot. The rooms are a bit noisier due to that, but overall they are nicely decorated and very clean. Parking is literally right outside the door! Mexican restaurant on site was great.

The room was clean The clerk at check in was disinterested and not very welcoming. There were bicycles and trash along the outside corridor. People were smoking pot in the outside cirridor

Our 2 rooms were ground floor, next to each other and close to the lobby. Rooms were updated recently and, like most Best Westerns, had ref, micro, coffee. AC units were quiet and efficient. Bed was completely comfortable Didn’t see much of the property.

Breakfast was good The hotel was nearly full and very loud up to about 11:30pm

The check in staff was very nice. My first impression when I walked into the room was it smelled clean. And it was. The beds were comfy. The refrigerator was cold and the shower water pressure and temperature was great. Overall breakfast had a wide variety of choices and the lady attendant for breakfast was super sweet! They had a pool and it was a good pool. My only issue was the guy changing his tire all night long. But i eventually dozed off and didn’t affect my sleep quality, just the process of falling asleep. And the breakfast bacon was super weird.

The staff was absolutely great. Love the tub size but the rooms need to be updated. The door didn't close properly all of the way. Had to put a chair in front of it

Great location. Not far off the Interstate and near a lot of restaurants. This place used to be a classic old Rt 66 type motel but Best Western bought it, removed the classic Thunderbird sign, painted everything BW blue and it has lost its charm.

Great for the price. Only ice maker working was at the opposite end from where we were.

Not working and the bathroom sink was broken The room was not modern but was clean the bed was too soft otherwise our stay was alright

Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Quiet. The only thing I didn’t like was the shower. No water pressure at all.

We have stayed here several times. Always clean & quite.

The hotel is very dated (1970s era). It was clean and neat, but guests need to understand they are going to a very old hotel. The original description did not indicate it at all. I do commend them for having a clean facility even though it is so old. The breakfast was not good.
