It was a good room Had no hot water and staff was absolutely rude

I was ask for a review. Please be sure to ask if all renovations have been completed before booking. I booked this through Expedia. I am a Choice Hotel Member. I was only informed that hotel was in the middle of remodeling. Hallways are dirty. Also, I certain that hot water is not working. I will go back but only after all remodeling has been done. Then I will give better review.

The location was convenient to the highway. The linens seemed cleaned. There was black mold on the ceiling, MANY days later I have a second pending charge on my bank account for the full amount of the stay that won’t go away, there were hand prints and fingernail marks all over the head board that were not cleaned, construction was posted to only go from 9am-6pm but went on past 8pm the night I checked in and started at 8 am the next day. No streaming services on the TV, checkout is noon but housekeeping rushed me out at 9 something.

The hotel is going through a renovation, so hopefully, it will be better after that has been completed.

The room was clean and affordable. Loved the laminate floors and new fixtures. Rates need to reflect the inconvenience of the remodel. They are remodeling so there wasn't hot water but at random times for 5 minutes so we took lukewarm showers. The carpet in the hallways were stained but will probably be the last part of the remodel. Just wished they at least steamed them.

Had a musty smell in the room; however they are in the process of renovating the hotel.

Breakfast was good. Room was clean and comfortable. The room above us was under construction and the noise till 6 PM was a bit annoying.

The property is located conveniently to I 40. The gentleman who checked us in was gracious and helpful. The property is under renovation (9/26); the construction crew had left some of their dudt and such in the hallways, but the room was clean and spacious. The room had been renovated with a walk-in shower, which we prefer, but the shower water was barely tepid. Renting the room with that mattress was criminal. I ended up sleeping on the sofa at 3 am when I gave up on the worn channel that had no support. We have stayed at Choice properties for years. ⁰After several stays on this long trip that were unacceptable, I doubt we will patronize any of the brands again.

Under construction but never heard a noise, the workers were very considerate of guests as they tried to work

There was no mention of any construction going on at the property when we booked our stay. We asked for another room and were told they were full. Our room was dirty. Would not stay here again.

Bathroom wasn’t clean white liquid drops on sink Whoever was there before us left shampoo rings of product on tub and housekeeping didn’t clean it something on the back part of toilet. The noise with construction was awful.

Our room was clean There are several things 1.construction....I think customer should know through an email that it was going on. I could have had a different mindset or not stay.The drilling or whatever the noice washorrendous. On this trip. I was spending most of my time at the hotel. NOT PLEASENT. 2. When I booked the hotel. I had the pool in mind seeing most of my stay was at the hotel and I know in my state the pool is seasonal.But who knew Tennessee with 100 degree weather followed that. Again I think hotel should mark pool as seasonal. I would have had a different mind set. 3. I am appauled that I need to ask for toilet paper at the front desk when needed. When we got to our room the roll was under half. I didn't think anything of it because assuming a roll was in the cabinet. I am making a big deal because I was informed from the front desk that if I need it just ask. They said they don't put extra because people steal it. Sorry that is not my problem. I am a paying customer and to assume I am stealing it is insulting. 4. The bathroom updates look wonderful. Unfortunately the shower needs a handle or something for the floor of the shower. Last day there I almost slipped in the shower and had nothing to help myself. 5. I always stay at a hotel with a laundry facility. We travel light knowing there is a laundry room. When I went to the floor construction told me the floor was closed. I went to the desk to confirm and they said it is definitely open. I went back to the floor and walked to the laundry room and it was completely covered in construction dust. Again, disappointed. I hand washed a couple of things and hoped for the best. I am or was trying to make this our choice hotel when traveling ...but...not sure anymore.

I was in town for 2 nights to attend my uncle's funeral. I am usually happy with Country Inn and Suites, but this one was a disappointment. The lobby looked fine when I checked in, and I took the elevator to my room on the 2nd floor. As I got off the elevator, I immediately noticed several large stains on the carpet, and there was a very strong mildew odor - so much so that I had to hold my breath. I had to deal with that every time I got off the elevator. There were also large stains on the carpet outside my room. I was relieved to see vinyl plank in the room instead of carpet. I didn't really like that you walked right into the sink and mirror area, but that is a minor complaint. The room seemed fine, except for the view of trash containers outside my window. They were doing construction on the hotel 9 am to 6 pm, so those may have been for the construction debris. Luckily, I was not at the hotel during the day, or the noise might have been disruptive. When the air conditioner went on, it sounded like a helicopter taking off. Luckily, I brought my ear plugs along! The last night, as I was using the bathroom, I saw a roach crawling near the tub. I was afraid to go into the bathroom after that! Luckily, I was only staying 2 nights, or I might have switched hotels. Hopefully the hotel will improve after they finish the remodeling. However, given the state it was in, I thought $283 for 2 nights was excessive. There should have been a reduced rate.

The building was under construction which is fine, but there were cockroaches in my room. I immediately left and everyone blamed it on other guests bringing them into the building instead of just taking accountability.

the location The air condition. It’s turn on and off. The room is not clean, i saw insects. First day I thought it was only one , however, the second day I saw another one.
