Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cookeville by IHG

The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent, two of the most important things for a hotel stay. The room was not cleaned well- one could see the dust under the TV table on that shelf, which had not been wiped in days. The worst thing about the stay was that the exhaust fan did not work; when you are showering in a small space, the heat builds up so easily and it was impossible to dry off. That should definitely be on the maintenance checklist, as well as the housekeeping checklist to report. The staff was fine and the breakfast was good.

Overnight stop at the start of a road trip. Front desk associate (maybe Carrie?) was extremely helpful and kind. Room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. I was leaving super early in the morning (technically before the breakfast area opened) I was still greeted warmly by the attendant opening that area, encouraged to grab a coffee (which I absolutely needed) and was offered yogurt or fruit or a bagel to take with me.

Great location! Nice to have an outdoor pool with the Tennessee weather!

It was nice they had an outdoor pool, that’s really the main reason we chose that hotel. The Rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable. We would definitely stay again

The staff was really nice, and tried to help. The TV in our room never worked. They came to our room 5 times, changing the remote, box, and batteries. I have an autistic child, and no TV was a major inconvenience. Apparently this is a common problem. I will not stay here again.

Everything was perfect for our short overnight stay while traveling. We will definitely make it our stop when passing thru again.

Discolored or stain on solid white comforter. A/C was out in main common areas, lobby and dining room all weekend (Fri, Sat, & Sun).

I’m not a normal multiple night traveler where I stay more than one night so I don’t know if this is now common practice. I stayed two nights and my room was not cleaned after the first night.

Overall, the stay was average, but the staff was amazing. Extremely helpful and friendly. The hospitality made the stay extra nice.

Our rooms carpet was pretty dirty. Lint and ribbon and other stuff on the floor. This was a no frills hotel. Which was fine, but it was a bit pricey compared to the lovely Holiday Inn we had just stayed in for several days in another state.

The rooms were dirty. There was mold in the bathroom. The sheets, pillows and comforters had dirt and stains on them. The manager was rude.

Everything was great. Great job guys.
