Red Roof Inn Cookeville - Tennessee Tech

The mattress I slept on should have been thrown away 20 years ago sagging and killed my back when I woke up. Hair dryer from the 70's end was melted and did not work. I have had great stays at Red Roof before guess all are not heald to certain standards

I booked this motel because it was pet friendly and had EV charging nearby. When I travel I'm looking for a good bed and hot shower. Someplace that makes me feel like my pet is welcome. This place is just that. The proximity to tons of restaurants and food shopping was a big plus as well!!

Room had plaster on the walls that were not painted over, holes in the wall where things were taken of the wall and not patched, paster chipping of the ceiling and mold from a upstairs leak that had been painted over. DISGUSTING! See above

The property was horrible and dirty and the bedsheets were stained and ugly

The outside was very dirty--sidewalks were sticky, stairwell was gross. The inside was overall clean, but the walls could use a wipe down. It was kind of grimy overall, but good enough for one night's sleep.

It is in a great location. Several outstanding restaurants in walking distance. It is past time for the owners to reinvest in the property. Rot around the window airconditioner. Stained bedspreads. Pool was covered,probably empty, in August. Damaged retaining wall. Moisture damaged bathroom door. Toilet wobbled. Fit and finish on the ceiling showed patched/botched repairs. Outside stairs were rusted with chunks of metal rusted away. The floors were perfect for a pet friendly place.

Very dated, semi clean Curtains besrly hanging. Needs painting. Very poor maintenance.

I liked the location. The morning staff was awesome, great attitude. the lady at the front desk in the morning time had just gotten off of work. She stopped and made more coffee for us. She didn't have to that, very impressed. Good coffee, too. The room was clean. Night shift wasn't as friendly and helpful. The floor in the room was cracked and felt like it was going to break. The pool wasn't open when it said on the website that this hotel had a pool. Wi-Fi was really spotty. My daughter said there were people outside that seemed like they were on something.
