Comfort Inn & Suites Coralville - Iowa City near Iowa River Landing

The bathroom was disgusting dirty. The floors haven’t been swept or mopped in months. The walls of our room had unidentified chunks of something….it was horrible filth.

Average stay. Pool looked like jello and remodeled room was done poorly with gap in flooring transition and shower curtain bar falling down.

Beautiful room and very clean amenities.

Nothing will never be staying again The water was brown. The staff are rude.

The staff here were so accommodating! The beds were super comfy and the pool was open till 10:00 p.m. which was nice. The floor in the pool area needs to be redone, and some sort of ventilation or fans would be helpful in there. Breakfast was really good, lots of options. Iowa is famous for their spiders, but I didn't find even one in the room, I was impressed. I'd stay again

Not one thing was satisfactory. The facility was visibly dirty in both the lobby and rooms with the utility room door wide open to see at the desk. There was only one staff member for assistance all night and was away from the desk several times for help. My TV in my room didn’t work. I barely stayed there 12 hours because of how disgusting it was. The bed had stains on the bottom that looked like mold and blood. I was too scared to even try the breakfast out of witnessing how dirty the place was. I had to pay extra because the room I had booked had a lock that didn’t work. It took 30 minutes for the attendant to check me in and was sharing my confidential information out loud (not needed) when people were right behind me waiting. This hotel should be shut down.

It was a place to rest our heads. It's older and lots of guests working on AI hanging out in parking lot.

Within walking distance to 30Hop and arena. Pictures are outdated. Hot tub was advertised, it was cemented over. It's ok for the price. Its definitely not as nice as it was a decade ago.

Out of the eight nights stayed we only got our room cleaned once. They never restocked our towels. Service needs improvement. Service needs improvement

First night, TV not working, but front desk person gave us new batteries for the TC remote which resolved the issue…continental free breakfast was fair and no variety to choose from and the scrambled eggs seemed like not traditional cooked scrambled eggs, but microwaveable cooked. The sausage links seemed microwaved as well plus no other meat selection or change up for following morning’s breakfast. The parking lot was very small and not in very clean area near other hotels. We likely will not be returning to this hotel in the future, but the hotel is close to Coral Ridge mall around 5 min away which was convenient.

The room wasn't ready and the condition of the room in itself was poor. Overall, it was a good value room to stay at.

The building is kinder old but clean the pool was so cold many people couldn’t get in.

I enjoyed it - better than some other hotels this trip. The pool looked nice! I would stay here again.

This property is OLD and in desperate need of updating. The place smells old, the carpets were dirty, the elevator was old and scary. The room looked and smelled terrible. Floors in the bathroom were rotting behind the toilet and shower from obvious water damage. The room smelled musty and old. The curtains were different lengths and hardly worked properly. The entire hair dryer and the base unit came off the wall. The towel bar in the vanity fell when you took a towel down. The bedding is old and snagged. The pillows are so small and very cheap. No way was I walking in the room without shoes. The carpet was gross. And the pool area smelled moldy and looked out of date. Not stepping foot in there. Didn’t try the food at breakfast because the facility was not clean. We made it through the night and got the hell out of there.
